"Hired Tyler to excavate for a septic tank and to remove a few dead trees and brush. Everything went great, the excavation work was done in a timely manner and beyond expectations. Landscaping was also done in a timely manner with all brush and trees placed neatly into a pile and the holes from the trees filled in with left over dirt from the septic tank excavation and a little extra dirt brought in. Overall, Mr. Arigoni did a phenomenal job and I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to a friend."

  •  Contacted them in July and they were prompt in getting back to me. Had work scheduled for the middle of August. Rearranged my vacation so I could be home when they started the job. Waited and waited and finally called. "they couldn't make it" because of weather delays. Not happy so I rescheduled and asked them to call if they couldn't make it. Rearranged my schedule again. Waited and waited. No call. Rescheduled again. They finally started the job The middle of Sept. It was supposed to take 4 days.  the guys working were very good and worked from 7:30-5 on Mon and Tues. On Wed about 5 they pulled the cable out of my wall. Guys very upset. Said they were tired but the boss was rushing them to finish. Boss not very sympathetic to my problem. I was without cable, internet, phone and cell service for 4 days yet boss showed up promptly on Friday morning to collect his money!!!!

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

After removing existing moss, consider using paver blocking sand to fill the joints. This specialty material hardens once placed and serves as an effective barrier against moss and weeds. From there on, regularly clean your pavers and try to keep them dry. You can also seal your paver as a semi-permanent solution — just make sure you reseal every 3 to 5 years.

Generally speaking, tiles are for indoor use, while pavers are for outdoor use. The main difference between travertine tiles and pavers is their thickness. Tiles are around 1/2 inch thick, and pavers are 1 1/4 inches to 2 inches thick.

Pavers are more rugged and can handle different weather. The extra thickness on pavers also makes them ideal for high-traffic areas.

Heated driveways cost an average of $12 to $25 per square foot. Depending on the size of your driveway, you may pay between $3,500 to $25,000 in total. Several factors can affect your bottom line, including material, labor, and system types. Investing in a heated driveway can save on snow removal costs because it will automatically melt the snow that falls on your driveway.

A driveway approach is the part of a driveway where the public road meets the private driveway. This section contains several key elements, including the driveway apron, the curb cut, and the end slope. Depending on the slope of the driveway, this area may also contain the trench drain.

Paving is a part of hardscaping, so all paving is hardscaping, but not all hardscaping is paving. Paving involves laying down concrete or asphalt, while hardscaping can also include the use of paving stones, bricks, gravel, wood, and more. Hardscape features that involve paving are considered permanent and will increase your property taxes, while some other hardscaping features—like those involving bricks, gravel, and paving stones—will not affect property taxes. Paving also typically requires a permit, while hardscaping features considered temporary will not.
