  Package arrived damaged. Both ends were opened. Fortunately everything was wrapped in plastic, so the only damage was some of the fabric blinds were bent. Did not bother dealing with returns, etc. Just hung them with the hope they will straighten over time.

  Everything went well. Two of the shades were cut to the incorrect size. Paul took them with him and had the correct ones sent. This happened to be right around x-mas so it took a bit to get the replacements. As soon as they arrived Paul was back to install. The windows look great.

  Terri came to the house to discuss our objectives, consider the alternatives and measure the windows. Her design suggestions were excellent and definitely improved the final product. She lent us her sample books and provided swatches to assist in selecting the materials. She brought the first set of drapes to the house to hang them and confirm the measurements.   It went very well. It was a very smooth process. The consultant who came out and helped me picked out fabric was fabulous. They installed them as well, and it went perfectly. Even the small issue they had, they were able to correct and fix in the same day.

  After weeks of looking for curtains for my livingroom, my cousin suggested Country Curtains. There store has curtains ranging from casual to elegant. The clerk knew her business and she had many suggestions. I made my decision on the style and color of curtains and prayed that they had them in stock (which was the problem I had in other stores). They did have the amount and size I needed for my windows. There were 2 panels per package which was hard to believe as big box stores sell single panels.   Went great. I have an older colonial period home with characteristic window sills. The window depth is very narrow which limited my options for window treatments to what I thought were cheap mini blinds. A big box store representative came for a consultation and told me the only choice for shutters would be over the frame which would cover the window sills that I wanted to preserve.   SelectBlinds.com is an online retailer and nobody came out to my house. The website is really well designed. It allows you to go through different types of blinds and shades and shop by features that you're looking for which is really helpful. I initially wanted to take a look at what the blinds actually looked like, so you can pick and they ship samples of those blinds to you so that way you can actually look and touch and feel and that's at no cost as well. I never interacted with them by talking to them. Everything was through their website and I never had the need. It was clean communication in that when I placed the order I got a confirmation and when they shipped it out I got a confirmation with a tracking number and everything. It was pretty good. The interaction is actually complete, so I picked them out, I ordered them, and they shipped them. I got them and I installed them and everything. All the parts were there and all the instructions were there. They're custom in a sense, so they're based on the dimensions that you provide of the window width and height you want. I think the price was very reasonable and very competitive compared to a brick store. I did ask for the samples to be sent and they were pretty quick and I think they arrived like within a week or something like that. They were pretty accurate with their estimates. In terms of how everything was packaged when I got the samples it was a nice letter explaining everything and it was all very tidy and very well presentedshow more

  I had contacted Terri about making our drapes and she was able to come out and take an initial look within a week of us first talking on the phone. She then took some measurements and was able to give an initial cost, depending on which fabrics we would choose. She had brought some sample fabrics with her, but I did not find exactly what I wanted so she kindly let me go to her home/studio to look at all of the fabric samples she has (which is a lot!). I found multiple fabric options and she let me bring the books home to see which ones would work best in our home. Once we picked out all the fabrics, she came out again to measure all the windows and gave us the final quote. The biggest variant was which fabric we chose as some were more expensive than others. We had received a quote from another place and Terri's pricing was substantially more affordable. We also needed a 12 foot pole to hang the panels on in our family room and Terri recommended we purchase the pole on our own as we would get a better price on our own than through the companies she uses. Terri said it could take a couple of months to get the drapes done, but she had them ready within a month. We then hired the installer she recommended (because we did not want to hang the drapes ourselves) and they had all of the drapes hung within 2 hours. They are absolutely beautiful drapes and valances and we have received so many compliments on them. Terri is very meticulous and on the valances there is a repeating pattern and she made sure that pattern matches up exactly. I had an idea of what I wanted on each window before Terri had come, but she offered additional suggestions for some of the drapes and her recommendations were fantastic. She is very knowledgeable, but not at all pushy, and we will definitely hire her again if we need any additional drapes madeshow more
