"Sergio responded within minutes of my home advisor inquiry. He set up an estimate and evaluation within 90 minutes and he and his assistant were able to perform my required work later that afternoon. The required work on my gutters was performed, and I was briefed on a noted deficiency that will soon require attention. The work needed was a small maintenance necessity, did not take much time, and the price quoted and charged was acceptable! Sergio and crew were very professional, they briefed me on all aspects of the work performed. Granted, their response on this day was unique, but if I had to make an appointment, I surely would have. Yes, I would hire them again. Well done Marine!"

Lawns questions, answered by experts

There are tools known as “sprinkler donuts” that are specially designed to aid in cutting the grass around your sprinkler heads by protecting them from your mower or weed whacker. You can also use a pair of hand shears to do the job manually if you’re willing to get a little dirty.

The easiest way to remove bushes is first to cut the bush down. You may need to use a handsaw, pruning shears, or a chainsaw for thicker branches. Once you’ve removed most of the branches, you can then cut the base of the shrub as low to the ground as you can get. Then, with a shovel, dig around until you expose the roots. Dig out the roots, being careful not to leave any roots in the soil.

Using a leaf blower is often the easiest way to pick up leaves. It quickly and efficiently gathers leaves into manageable piles, requiring less physical effort than manual raking. Additionally, you can choose to bag the collected leaves or use a mulching mower to break them down into natural mulch, simplifying the cleanup process further.

As we know, leaving dog poop on your lawn can cause patching and even death of your grass. But, even if your yard is hardscaped, leaving dog poop lying around is unhygienic and smelly, and it’s an invitation for kids to trail it into the house on the soles of their shoes.

Mulching leaves with a lawn mower is a great way to reap the benefits of leaf nutrients composting into your lawn without the leaves covering too much of your grass.
