They also charged me 15% more after the plans went to manufacturing. This has been a nightmare to say it mildly. There are other steel frame home companies out there."

Liberty Security Services was founded with the vision of producing innovative and affordable security solutions to meet the needs of our clients. To fulfill this vision, we developed a wide selection of services ranging from affordable alarm systems to feature-rich, cost-effective monitoring services. In order to build and retain the team necessary for success, Liberty Security Services created a professional culture focused on attracting creative, practical, and energetic employees driven to succeed. Everyone at Liberty Security Services believes that the client’s positive final response to a finished installation is the measure of our success. Many other security providers will sub-contract out the installation of your security solutions. By doing this the company may lose control of the quality of work, and the relationship with the client. To prevent this we’ve directly hired and trained all of our installation personnel to ensure that they perform quality installations, and maintain an excellent working relationship with clients.

Architects questions, answered by experts

Architects can cater to both residential and commercial projects, tailoring their approach according to the specific sector regulatory requirements.

Renaissance-style architecture predates Italianate architecture and serves as an inspiration for many elements of the Italianate style. Renaissance architecture adheres to the rules of classical architecture, while Italianate architecture adds elements that served to modernize the Renaissance style for the Victorian era and allow this style of home to be produced in a range of sizes to be attainable for various budgets.

You likely need to hire an architect for your new house design and build, unless you have the design skills and experience with building regulations and standards needed to get your plans approved. If you are able to meet the design requirements, you can hire a draftsperson to create the blueprints for the builders to follow.

Blueprints for standard home construction will usually range from $1,500 to $2,500 and average around $1,800. Your pricing will likely be higher if you’re building a custom home, as you’ll need to pay a structural engineer to weigh in on building safety. The size of your project, the number of rooms, and the type of drawings you need can also play a role in your total cost.

You have three options in terms of professionals who can draw up blueprints: a draftsperson, an architect, or a structural engineer. A draftsperson can sometimes draw up plans for new construction, but they more often work from approved plans for alterations or to provide 3D drawings. Architects are usually the best option for standard residential construction projects. Structural engineers might be necessary for custom home builds or for alterations that could affect your home’s structural integrity. Draftsmen cost the least of the three, followed by architects and then structural engineers.
