"I had to call Craig Thomas Pest Control 4 times and each time I called I spoke to a different person.  It seems I was reaching a call center each time.  This was a problem because I needed to cancel the appointment I had made with them.  When I called to do so I ended up speaking to a different individual than the one that scheduled my appointment.  To avoid any miscommunication I called Craig Thomas twice to make sure the appointment was cancelled.  I then made an appointment with another local provider who had very good Angie's list reviews.  The problem was Craig Thomas Pest Control's scheduling department is very disorganized.  They failed to cancel the appointment and a technician arrived at my house anyway.  This was awkward because I had scheduled another local provider for the same time.  Unfortunately the Craig Thomas technician arrived before my preferred provider arrived without giving me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way for an appointment that didn't really exist! The other local provider being a fair and professional individual offered to come in and use his digital heat sensor device to locate the bee hive in the wall of our bedroom.  He did this free of charge and thank goodness he did because the Craig Thomas technician's method of investigation was to put his ear up against the wall and listen.  The Craig Thomas ear against the wall method unfortunately was ineffective at locating the beehive.  If the other local provider had not been there I don't know how this appointment would have turned out...not very good I'm guessing.  The technician from Craig Thomas was respectful and professional and after the other local provider located the beehive the Craig Thomas technician did complete the chemical application.  I don't blame the Craig Thomas technician because he was just doing his job in the way that he was trained or instructed to so by Craig Thomas.  But I would not use Craig Thomas again in the future.  I will instead use that other local provider with the digital heat sensor device and easy scheduling.

"We found evidence of termite infestation. They responded quickly and inspected property the following day. Price was reasonable and employee was knowledgeable. He explained scope of work and options thoroughly. We added pest control as additional price was very reasonable. Work was performed the following day and we are satisfied with service."

"The rep that came to my home was not prepared. He did not come with all of his supplies. I had to provide him with missing supply. All in all the gentleman was very nice showed me where all traps were placed and also sprayed for ants. The ant problem is still bad as the weather gets warmer. I will need to call once my 15 days are upp to re-spray. The office person that I spoke with gave me information that I explained to the service man and he states that they were not aware of a paticular service in getting out mice in my home. Actually what they did I was doing anyway but did not know exactly where to place all of the traps. I am not sure this was worth my money and time. "I own and manage several properties that were built over 50 years ago and decided that it would be a good idea to have them all inspected with regards to all chimneys, dampers and flues.  I wanted to make sure the occupants were protected against carbon monoxide leaks and the properties protected against fire threat.  I contacted Skyline because they were recommended by several other property managers whose opinions I respect.  I'm glad I did.
When Skyline came out they explained to me, as well as some of the curious occupants, why it is important to make sure all the flues were clear, aligned, and chimney structure intact and solid.  They took their time explaining and were very clear.
There were several properties and Skyline was professional, courteous, patient, and flexible with my ever changing schedule.  I could trust them to work at a location on their own.  What I like about Skyline is that they are a local business that really cares about their customer's lives and the quality of work that they do.
The estimates they gave me were fair and accurate.  As they did their work they were able to identify several instances where the terra-cotta flues were cracked and had shifted.  This caused poor flow and presented a danger.  Their recommendations to replace the flues were appropriate and the costs were fair, even below market price compared to some of the larger providers.  Because of their craftsmanship  I decided that while they were there I should have them do some additional work replacing masonry and roofing.
Going into this project I knew that there was the potential for major issues and might even require replacing all chimneys at all sites.  You can't see what's going on inside a chimney until you have someone get in their for you but the safety of the occupants and properties was going to be worth it.  Gladly, Skyline was able to do the work and didn't try to up-sell me anything I did't need.
I have recommended Skyline to my other partners and family members.
