"Awesome job. Marcos and his crew more than exceeded my expectations for the job. They were professional, and courteous. The job took just over two days. Day one was excavating and framing, day two was pouring, finishing, and landscaping. The job site was left neat after day one, and Marcos & his crew didn't leave on day two until all the landscaping was made neat and the job site cleaned up. "We had some water coming into our basement on rainy days. We attempted to fix the issue ourselves and quickly realized we were in over our heads. At this point we were tired of our stuff getting damaged, and cleaning up the watery mess. We called some contractors and received various quotes. We then turned to Angie's list in hopes of finding someone qualified at a much more reasonable price. We found Mr. Black Contracting and setup a time for him to check out our basement. He showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and was able to spot the problem even before we pointed it out to him. This surprised us as no other contractor was able to do that. We accepted his proposal and the work was completed quickly, efficiently and at a fair price. We work from home and are frequently on conference calls, so we were a bit worried about the repair noise being overwhelming. To our surprise the noise was kept to a minimum, and we were able to work with no interruptions. He was very clean and gave us many different options to stop the water from coming in. I will use them in the future and recommend them to anyone that needs repairs done."

"Called Good Guys to finish fixing my basement, a job that a previous contractor didn't finish. They agreed to do that job and with the time I had left they would put a new laminate flooring I had purchased in my Kitchen and Living room. If there was still time they would put a back splash on one of my kitchen walls. Good Guys called me in early November of 2012 to say they would have to postpone our job because they had a lot of work to do on the damage caused by Superstorm Sandy. They would call me when they were done. I haven't heard from them since and don't feel I can trust them to do the job well and in a timely fashion. I have even more water in my basement than when I bought the certificate and I'm worried it will cause mold and other damage. I would like a refund so I can find someone else thru Angie's list to do the job."

"TMC Construction were life savers. My basement had flooded and the mess was over whelming. I had used them once before to renovate my porch. I explained to the owner how important it was for them to come asap and they came the next day. They not only cleaned out all the garbage, they stuck around and helped me clean up. I had called other places first because I didn't know they would remove garbage. Everyone else was more expensive. I'm so glad I called them. I highly recommend them. They were timely and professional.
