I called in March and was able to meet with Josh to come up with a plan. I had the estimate within a week and the work was all done within 2days in May. Tripi’s staff is polite, responsive and the work is beautiful. I am extremely happy with their service. I really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with Josh while I was at work and would trust future work to Tripi’s without a second thought!

We spent nearly $20k with Regan and wish we would have worked with another company. Let’s start with the landscape drawings: We were told by Dan, the owner, that his cousin would be able to work up something really special; what we received was a copy of the sketch that we supplied. The back yard: Dan underestimated the amount of stone that was needed, resulting in a much higher cost for our patio, which still isn’t “hand tight,” (as promised by Dan). by more than $1,000. And Dan’s recommendation for stone dust, which just turned into a muddy mess (despite being assured that it wouldn’t be). We had to buy gravel and stone, plus the labor to put the stone in the pit. The plants: In the drawings, everything was lush. But Regan plants the smallest and sickliest looking plants, especially hakonechloa, imaginable. When we complained about that, we were told that we could pay more for more plants, including myrtle. So we did. And then, most of the ferns died. Spring cleanup to our front gardens: The crew put down the wrong color mulch, threw it over all of the plants, tore a ton of nice ivy out that shouldn’t have been removed and damaged all of the spring bulb plants. The second time, with the right color mulch, was done ever sloppier. We had to spend a weekend cleaning up their work. Despite having issues with Regan throughout the entire process and communicating those issues and expressing our frustration to Dan, the thing that upset us the most is that Dan never came to check in on the project when it was finished, never sat down with us at the end. That could have turned this entire experience into something more positive. It’s just foolish. I’ve never worked with a contractor or consultant at home or at work who so poorly managed expectations and communications with a customer. I’m assuming the same can be said about how communications are handled with employees. This project got more and more expensive because of the poor planning, communication and management of expectations. I can’t imagine that I’m the only customer that has issues with the way work is performed. In fact, I know I’m not.

SAVILLE'S OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPTWalk-behind fixed. Riding mower tool much to repair so they scrapped it. Appreciate them being honest with what shape it was in to not waste my money fixing it.- Greg W.

Saville's Outdoor Power EquipmentGreat. They picked up the machine the morning I called, repaired it, and returned it the next day, just in time to use on half a foot of snow. It's big enough that I could not have handled it myself, so the pickup and drop off service was essential. Very professional treatment in every respect.- Donald W.

Saville's Outdoor Power EquipmentWhen I called the office I got a real person on the phone . Not an answering machine. They gave me a general estimate foe the mower tune up and made an appt. to pick it up. They came on time and the driver was really personable. It took about 2 weeks and they called to make an appt. to deliver it. I found the price to be very reasonable.- Judith M.

Saville's Outdoor Power EquipmentI have an old electric-start Toro lawnmower which wouldn't start unless you used the rope pull, and then only with extreme difficulty. Saville's cleaned the carburetor and replaced a bad pinion gear. I had to wait three weeks but, in fairness to them, they were backed up with work because there had been a warm spell and everyone was suddenly needing their lawnmower fixed. A couple weeks after I picked it up the mower started dying after running for a while, so I returned it to Saville's and they looked at it right away. It turned out to be a different problem. They determined that a vent (in the fuel line?) was cracked and nonfunctional and replacements were no longer available because the mower was old. They showed me how to keep the mower running without the vent. They did not charge me for this second time.I would definitely use Saville's again.- DEANNE O.

D & S MOTOR SPORTSI'm usually a do-it yourself kind of guy, and had gotten help, advice, and inexpensive parts from D&S before. they kept me going! Eventually i got to the point where nothing i did would get my 10 year old Toro to run. I felt it would be worth fixing, so D&S took it in. they got it running strong, and made some modifications to keep it from having the same problem again. the mower originally had a factory battery/ key start system, old battery was dead as a boot, and i never had the charger for it. (got it used) i got those parts as well, which was a good portion of the bill. i was willing to pay as I like the ease of the electric start assist. The owner and family staff are friendly, helpful, and really know what they're doing. I will be using their service again, and recommend them highly to any one in the area!- BOB S.

Mobile Small Engine RepairIt's nice to have somebody that comes to your own residence to repair a snowblower. If you don't own a pickup truck or full sized van, it is impossible to transport most snowblowers on your own. I didn't have to wait weeks, I didn't have to transport my snowblower, and the price was extremely fair. This is how small engine repair should be done.- Anne S.

Mobile Small Engine RepairI was driving home from work listening to the news of the approaching storm when I remembered that my snow blower was broken. I got Ed's phone number from a friend and gave him a call. I was looking for someone who could come to my house and fix it, rather than loading it into the car, dropping it off, waiting for the repair, and then picking it back up. I spoke with Ed about 5pm, and he had an opening first thing the next morning. He brought his mobile workshop out, and within 30 minutes had my snow blower up and running. The snow was falling, and by the time I got home I surely needed to get to cleaning out my driveway. It was the best $40 I have spent in a long time. I would recommend his service to anyone who values great service at a great price. Thank you so much Ed, you saved the day!- Craig S.
