"This is the third time I've called these guys. First time was a leaky outside host faucet. Second was a leaking water line in the basement (they fixed it AND put in a shutoff for nothing extra to make it easy if they ever need to come back). Today was a backed-up sewer line causing all kinds of terrible in my basement. As usual, great job. Very reasonable price. Ended up prioritizing me because of the problem which was great. No, it’s best not to leave baking soda and vinegar in the drain overnight. While using baking soda and vinegar can be helpful to clear out hair and debris in your bathtub drain, this mixture might start to corrode your drainpipes due to its caustic nature if left in the drain too long or used too often. 

While not every clog has the same symptoms, the most common early sign that your main sewer line is clogged is that multiple drains in your home are draining slowly. You may also notice gurgling and odors from drains. If your plumbing system's drain cleanout is backing up with water, this is also a sign of a clog or blockage.

There are a few things that can happen to your sewer system if you don’t fix it.
