He came quickly, he was prompt. He returned phone calls and he did a good job. He was efficient. It was a reasonable cost. Nobody ever likes the price. He wasn’t too awful on price.

It went great. #1, they came out and performed the work on a day when it was absolutely frigid outside and there was a travel advisory. But they did everything I asked and made sure all work was done to my specifications. Due to a new style of kitchen faucet I picked out, they had to move the deck approximately a half inch forward on the sink. They were apologetic and said they'd change it if need be, but that was completely due to the choice that I made in purchasing the new style of faucet. I was relieved they found a way to install it, and it looks great! Everything was done perfectly.

I have been living with a hot water slab leak for over two years, turning the cold water intake off at the hot water tank when the hot water was not in use. My delay in getting it repaired was due to budget constraints, but it was also due to lack of responsiveness and interest from the handful of other area plumbers I had out to give me advice. It seemed that the first thing anyone wanted to do was dig up the slab to attempt to find and then patch the leak (no way!!) or run the pipes through the attic where they'd undoubtedly freeze. When I discovered the drain line running into the slab from the washing machine was also broken, I knew that it was time to bite the bullet and get something done. I looked on Angie's List and found RFC Contracting had positive reviews, so I decided to give them a call hoping to find a more creative solution. Bob came out the next day to have a look, told me what he thought could be done, had an estimate to me by that evening, and the work was done within a few weeks to my specifications. (It would have been done sooner if my schedule and pocketbook had permitted. On a side note, before I was ready for them to start the big job, they came out to replace a faulty drain pipe running from the bathtub---this cost me $250 and was worth every penny. That had been leaking too unbeknownst to me.) The day that they started rerouting the lines, Bob and Art and Kris each separately called me on the phone at work to keep me updated on the status and to relate their exact plans. It took two days for them to get the work completed. In the end, the hot water lines had been rerouted to the kitchen sink, bathtub, and bathroom sink; this was done by running PEX pipes flush to the ceiling, through walls, and even around one doorway. This was accomplished with very minimal drilling through the drywall. The drain line in the kitchen/laundry room was replaced with PVC pipe and rerouted through a nearby external wall to the sewer line in my back yard. (Genius!) All of the work was done neatly and at a fair price---all involved were polite and prompt and professional from start to finish. Needless to say, I am very pleased, and I would not think of hiring another plumber for any job big or small after my experience with RFC Contracting. Major kudos.

I used the scheduling option on the Angie's List website and received a call to confirm a time within a couple hours.  Work was done quickly and most importantly, the issue was resolved.  (He removed the water filter that ran from our well to our water softener.  The water was so hard, it gunked up the filter, reducing the amount of water that could pass through.)  I also asked about replacing the water softener but he said he didn't do those and gave me the name of another company who does.  I appreciated the honest answer.  I will definitely be using RFC for any future plumbing issues.

Was very surprised at how fast he answered my phone call, came to the house, gave us an estimate, and said he could get the work done the same day.  His attitude wasn't always the most professional but as long as he got the job done well that's what mattered most to me.

I have always been satisfied when hiring RTC contracting to do a plumbing job. Address provided is not the actual address where the service was performed, as I choose not to disclose this information.

The plumber showed up early which was nice. Free consultation and explaination on what would be expected and estimate of cost. Basically what I wanted to isolate was a leak i been experiencing in a downstairs bathroom whenever upstairs bathtub was run. He assured me that the tub needed chalking and that doing so would most likely fix my problem. He did make me aware of the trap being installed incorrectly causing water to slowly drain from the tub and said its not causing problems now but may cause problems and need to be snaked in the future. He recommended replacing it correctly. I agreed to have him perform his recommendation and he was here the next day. It took him 1 and a half hours to do the job but he had very little room with which to work and had to cut galvanized pipe so i thought that was reasonable. He recommended a product to clean hard water stains on my bathroom wall. All in all I was pleased though I found it to be pricey. The work performed though was neat and conviently performed. I would use again and recommend to a friend.

"Thank you for your feed back we have a yellow cord also we thought was ours. I am sorry we couldn't meet your pricing needs. The project was pretty involved that led to a couple of days workmanship. I will return your cord."

.The men were very prompt with replacing the first toilet, but had an emergency arise elsewhere, so there was a slight delay in installing the second (they did call and apologize for the delay).
After they installed the first toilet in the downstairs bathroom, I asked if they would change the plan for the upstairs and install a higher toilet, as I have arthritic knees.  They did so, with no complaint.
I had been afraid that replacing old, much higher toilets would perhaps be a problem with changing pipes and could cause leaks.  They assured me that there would be no problem, and to date, there has been none.
They did their best to limit dust from the project and were fairly successful.
The only issue I have had is that the downstairs toilet flushes sluggishly, but there is a problem with water pressure in that bathroom.
I would certainly use RFC again.

They were fine. He gave us a couple of recommendations where he said they could try clearing it out but there’s no guarantee that it won’t clog up the way that it did before. He was pretty straightforward about. He didn’t try to sell us something that we didn’t need or want. He was very professional. He always had other people here doing work. He asked on the phone about non-work related issues. His boss came by while he was here to see how things were doing so we were impressed by that. He paid attention to what was going on and what people were doing. He was always very professional and stayed on top the entire time he was here. He didn’t try to get more money. We were referred to this company and we were happy with the service we got. The price was fair and I don't think we got overcharged. He explained everything that he was doing while he was doing it. I don’t know how long they’ve been in business but they seem to be expanding because I see their vehicles around more and more so they must be doing well.

Great job. These guys went above and beyond to remove a huge garage/shed that was ready to collapse. They were on time and the price was good. The area was cleaned up and it looks like the garage never was there. Very pleased. P.S. Neighbors have thanked is for removing the eyesore. :)
