Deciding that we are through paying through the nose for electric, our family decided to go solar. I arranged consultations with a dozen representatives of local solar companies. Each and every representative besides anthony at morning solar insisted on phone meetings and remote satellite pictures to estimate the project parameters for my home. In my opinion, a large project that is a sizable investment requires personalized diagnostics. The other representatives remotely used 2 year old satellite pictures to estimate where to put panels and how many. I told them it is simply impossible to do so remotely as I have removed 25 trees from the vicinity of my home and the information they received from the outdated photos are pointless.
