"installed two bathroom faucets, which I supplied. While he was very nice and installed, he also offered to return should there be a problem.  We had a leak with the faucets and called him.  He finally did come but was somewhat annoyed at coming back."

"Andrea Tudda and his team at Venezia Tile Marble & Granite were recommended by our neighbor. We really liked what we saw and set up an appointment for our bathroom and kitchen remodel. One of the many things that stands out about Andrea and his company is their ability to design a space and come up with creative solutions and recommendations. That only comes from a depth of experience and an innate creative design sense. They are also very collaborative and will present all the pros and cons to help guide you through the final layout. His crew is very skilled, neat, conscientious, and above ALL else…clean and meticulous. They didn’t leave a day with so much as a speck of dust lingering…you wouldn’t even know they were there, if not for the beautiful work they did. Andrea would check in with his crew and come in person periodically to ensure we were happy with the progress. He would drop off samples just to confirm that we were absolutely sure of the finishes. In the end, each tile that is laid gets his stamp of approval before they move on. He and his team live by the mantra: Do unto others as you would them do unto to you. We are so pleased with the outcome that we decided to select Venezia Tile Marble & Granite to renovate the entire kitchen, our bathroon, you even insulated our breakfast nook and laundry room including all new flooring. The final product came out absolutely stunning, and my wife and I are truly pleased and really excited. We can't thank you enough Andre and team! And I will 1000% recommend them to anyone looking to renovate in style."

"They picked up the new windows and all materials needed for us, arrived on time, were friendly and professional and did a great job installing the windows. As the old windows they were removing were in very poor shape and were rotted in areas, it wasn't as simple as some installations may be, but they were able to replace the windows efficiently with great results. We plan on using them again for additional work and would definitely recommend them to others."

"Jeremy was very professional he came on time and assessed everything that was not properly done during my boiler installation. He was able to fix and repair everything in a timely manner. He was pleasant, professional and knew his trade. I would use him again and I would not hesitate to refer him to others. Thanks Angie."

"I had a leak under my sink with water pouring out. Also a leaky washer and warm but not hot water in two showers. I called Mark and he was incredibly responsive, set up a time at my convenience. He is a very young guy, but incredibly knowledgeable. You gotta love that Scottish brogue!! My kitchen sink is a great example of what to expect from him, it was simply a hose that needed tightening. He showed me the problem, including how to fix it myself in the future and fixed it in about 2 minutes. With the washer, he told me it was an issue for the manufacturer, which I appreciated. He was able to quickly turn my warm shower into a hot one. I appreciate his honesty and expertise, he was great. He is the one I will call if I need a plumber again."

"The job started well but it wasn't finished with the level of detail or professionalism I would have expected, especially given some of the stellar reviews on here. I hired them because I believed they would be meticulous. They take on a lot of work and the subcontractor was on the job most of the time (in fact there were many days where there was just a sub-sub contractor here). They only came by about once a week which meant that when mistakes were made, I was almost always the one responsible for catching them. They also were not the most punctual, so I often waited hours for them to come by on the day they did plan to stop by. I could tell when things went wrong aesthetically (like when they used two different colors of grout on my back splash) but I wouldn't have known if the construction was faulty (they hung our medicine cabinet without sinking them so it fell off the wall a few months after the job was done). There are things I am only just now discovering, like wired were just taped together instead of being soldered. I expected more regular supervision which would have saved them from making and then repairing a lot of things. It also would have made me feel more confident in their work. They didn't use silicon to seal the joint between our counters and back splash which is industry standard. Eventually they sent someone back to fix it at my insistence, but they used the wrong color silicon and they just put it over the existing grout. Consequently it has already started peeling off. They also did not use painter's tape when adding the silicon so we have a thick line of silicon that covers part of our backsplash and looks very "DIY." Every time they sent someone back to fix it, it seemed to get worse but neither the owner nor the VP came to oversee the work. We also paid $1000 for "custom" under-cabinet lights, which had to be installed 3 times and were nothing more than a $70 strip of lights from Home Depot (I know because I saw the handyman they sent walk in with a bag from home depot and I saw the receipt). To install these lights, they drilled huge holes in our cabinets, chipped our backsplash and taped lights to the back of our cabinets, so you can see the glow coming from within the cabinetry when they are on. They also taped the wires together, which I have since been told could cause the light to short and is not a good idea. There were several other more polished and professional ways these lights could have been handled and for $1000, I expect something much better than what we got. Towards the end, I got the impression they wanted to finish our job and didn't want to invest the time or money into finishing the job properly. Lastly, one of our cabinets came missing a shelf and instead of ordering a new one for us, they cut a cheap one out of plywood. I emailed requesting the shelf we paid for multiple times, only to be told it wasn't supposed to come with that size cabinet (even though every single other one of our cabinets of the same size have that number of shelves). I have called, texted, emailed and even stopped in multiple times since the job was finish to request they fix these details. Every time I have been told they will look for a design solution or schedule a time to fix the work but they never follow through. At this point, I have to pay even more money to hire someone else to come in and make the fixes. It is unfortunate that they couldn't have handled the details with more care because we would have been happy with the job had they not completely stopped caring towards the end."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

A handyperson with basic plumbing experience can install a bathroom faucet, like the kind of skills you’d need to replace a P-trap or swap out a showerhead. They may not have deep knowledge of local plumbing code, though. If your faucet installation requires work on the pipes behind the wall or under the floor, hire a licensed plumber with the necessary training and licensing.

You can choose a few different options for outdoor kitchen sink drainage. You can install a dry well about 10 feet away from your home or patio or install a French drain closer by. You can also drain into your home’s plumbing system, but it is more costly versus using a dry well.

The standard kitchen sink size is typically 22 inches by 30 inches. However, kitchen sinks are available in a wide range of sizes to fit different kitchens, commonly from 25 to 39 inches long, though you can find even larger or custom sizes. When choosing a replacement, the easiest option is to select a sink that matches your existing one's dimensions. If you decide to install a larger sink, you will need to enlarge the cutout in your countertop; be sure to use the template that comes with the new sink to ensure a proper fit. Installing a smaller sink can be more complex, as it may require replacing the entire countertop.

Pedestal sinks typically come with two pieces: the pedestal (also known as the base or pole) and the sink basin. You may hear it referred to as a standalone sink. The sink sits on top of the pedestal, which attaches to the floor and hides the plumbing. Both pieces usually come in porcelain or ceramic.

Yes, you can remove an undermount sink from granite countertops. However, it’s safest to hire a granite pro to take on this job. Your pro might have to make cuts and grind the granite to remove the sink. Plus, if you’re replacing your sink with a larger one, you’ll need your pro to enlarge the existing sink cutout in your granite.
