"We started meeting with Chris in winter to plan our project. We met several times to exchange ideas and he was very careful to listen to our needs and to suggest the best ways to achieve them. Once the building began he and his assistant worked efficiently and communicated their plans and progress daily. The work site was left well organized and clean each day and after the project was done. The project itself was to build a Trex deck with solar lighting and to restore power to our barn (the line had been cut when our new well was installed). We opted for a different brand of decking besides what they usually use and our requests were nicely accommodated. The workers came when they said they would and completed the project on-time and left our property as they found it. The porch and deck look awesome! My company's name is Twin Brushes Painting Services Inc out of Troy NY. I have over 10 years of experience, I do interior and exterior painting, and I mainly focus on residential but I have experience in commercial work.

"Timing: Initial estimate was done by Pete, the owner of PPF, in March. Installation was done in late August for the initial estimate amount.

Installation: Pete was originally scheduled to do the job on Thursday, Sept. 1st, but had some time on Tuesday, the 30th, and called to ask if it was okay to come early. I told him sure, but asked him to wait to install the gutter at the front of the house as I had some concerns about the best location for one of the downspouts. He and his helper arrived between 2 and 2:30 and by the time I got to the house around 4:30, the house was complete (except for the front area I asked him to wait to do) and they were just finishing up the garage. We talked about possible solutions for the front downspout for a good 10-15 minutes, during which time Pete held the downspout in different orientations while I walked around and looked at it from different angles. I was impressed with his patience in helping me figure out this somewhat minor detail (but important to my wife and I, as we invested a lot of time and effort during the renovation to make the house as visually appealing as possible!).

Everything was done neatly, installed solidly and both Pete and his helper were very nice to deal with. PPF was not the cheapest quote I got, but for the extra $200-250, I got a top quality job from a guy who knows what he's doing!"

"2 persons arrived on time before 8 am.   We were allowed to use their portable generator, which was an unexpected pleasure, kept the refrig cold.   Team worked through the day, no long breaks.   Passed city electrical inspection, and once National Grid finished their pole work, we were good to go!   Power back on by 3 pm.   They use quality parts, perform quality work.  Neat.   Complete.   Highly recommend!
