We used this company years ago for a beautiful cedar fence and it was a wonderful experience then. So we decided after moving we would use him again. Rick from Long Lumber was as good as he was 10 yrs prior. Rick has an amazing eye with his attention to detail in his design & using quality materials. I told him what I had in mind and he made it happen. He took the time to explore a way to get me a 10 foot wide custom arched vinyl gate, a beautiful arbor and panels. Our home is a simple, builders grade home even though we paid for "custom" but nothing is custom except for high prices set differently for every person in Ted Cillis III development. Anyway, the fence arrived on the date he said it would, it was designed the way I was envisioning, and installed by Ken from New Scotland Fence, who Rick recommended. Everything came together beautifully. We enjoy the visual statement it makes, the functionality with privacy and security. If you want someone that will offer fair pricing for quality materials Long Lumber is the way to go.

I like that they are a local company, they are very nice, and they stand behind their products. They have been in business for a long time and they have great reputation. They can do custom work if one wants it and they can deliver if one wants it. Overall, they are nice people. Price wise, they are expensive but their stuff is good. They do good quality work and they are on time.
