"My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.

"Emergency roof repair was needed as there was a leak. Roof was located under a deck and repairs were done quickly and very efficiently. Workers took great care to minimize disruption while work was going on- accessing the roof by a ladder rather than coming through the house, and they put down paper so they wouldn’t track dirt through our home on the rare occasions they had to come from inside. It has rained since the repair and no leak yet! Highly recommend Imperial Contracting."

"1257 Rogers Ave. The 4 story commercial building next door is being demolished & removed already, first unattach it, next, demolish and remove the 3rd & 4th floors and unattach it very carefully! Remodel it into 2 stories and make this new house smaller just like the old house next door! And then remove those metal storm shutters to give us back the skylight windows in our bedrooms because we live in 1253 Rogers Ave. 2nd floor! Adrese Harris Thank you!"

HE  MENTIONED SEVERAL IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF THE JOB THAT NONE OF THE OTHER CONTRACTORS MENTIONED . GARY CAME BACK TWO DAYS LATER TO DOUBLE CHECK ON HIS APROACH AND WITHIN TWO DAYS HE HAD PROVIDED ME WITH A ITEMIZED , DETAILED ,I MEAN A DETAILED QUOTE SHOWING EVERY ASPECT OF THE JOP AND THE COST OF THE INDIVIDUAL TASK. AS WELL AS A LIST OF REFERALS AND A PORTFOLIO OF PREVIOUS JOBS .
 
   I HAD THREE OTHER CONTRACTORS COME AS WELL FOR A QUOTE . EACH  WAS FURNISHED WITH A FULL SET OF ARCHITECT DRAWINGS. THEY ALL  TOOK THREE TO FOUR WEEKS TO PROVIDE A QUOTE .
 ONE CONTRACTOR FROM THAT OTHER WEB SITE WASN'T EVEN CLOSE WITH HIS QUOTE AND DID NOT SEEM VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE . THE REMAINING TWO WERE  NOT THAT CONVINCING THAT THEY WHERE EQUIPPED TO DO THE JOB AND WOULD MOST LIKELY BE SUBBING  PEICES OF THE JOB RESULTING IN ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE TRAMPLING IN AND OUT OF YOUR HOME,NOT TO MENTION ALL THE DELAYS,WAITING FOR THIS GUY AND THAT GUY ! AND WHAT ABOUT THE OUTCOME?
 
    I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT KENTSTRUCTION'S CREW. GARY ,ALEX, BILLY ,RONALD AND EDGAR . THEY ALL HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR KENTSTRUCTION FOR I BELIEVE 17 YEARS OR SO AND ARE VERY DEDICATED AND HAVE ALOT OF PRIDE IN THEIR WORK AND THEY ARE ALL MASTER CARPENTERS. IT'S IMPORTANT TO THEM TO DO THE MOST PROFESSIONAL JOB AND LOVE TO SEE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY.
    UNFORTUNATELY YOU DO NOT SEE THIS MUCH ANYMORE AND THIS SHOULD BE COMMENDED WITH A KIND GESTER AND A TIP TO SHOW SOME APPRECIATION.
  THEY NEVER MISSED A DAY AND EVEN SHOWED UP ON A WICKED RAINY DAY TO COVER THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE WHERE SIDING WAS MISSNG JUST IN CASE THE RAIN BLEW THAT WAY !  
     GARY WAS EASY GOING AND WE WORKED WELL TOGETHER WITH ALL THE SMALL CHANGES YOU CAN'T AVOID ALONG THE WAY.
  IN THE END MY FAMILY FRIENDS,NEIGHBORS AND I ARE AMAZED WITH HOW GORGEOUS IT ALL TURNED OUT AND AS A BONUS IT WAS A STRESS FREE PROCESS . THAT IS PRICELESS !!
  ONCE AGAIN I THANK KENTSTRUCTION FOR DOING SUCH A PROFESSIONAL AND SUBURB JOB !!
