"Slower than expected; due to rain and storms. Normally a crew of 4 experienced painters showed up at 9 am and often stayed until 5:30 or 6 pm. They laid tarps everywhere and were respectful to our neighbors. Excellent detail and trim work. They stored all equipment and replaced deck furniture daily. Excellent crew. Quiet and efficient."

"On May 21, 2024 I hired 360 Painting of Syracuse NY to paint my 6 family house located at 329 Macarthur Parkway, Oneida NY 13421. I have a signed contract with this company to do a complete paint at a total cost including tax of $17,711.00. I have a signed contract with this company to do a complete paint at a total cost including tax of $17,711.00. Everything seemed great with a nice conversation on the phone with the owner of the company Ian Webber. He told me he was busy but could probably do it sometime in mid July 2024. This was fine with me. In July he gave me a 1 day notice by text only, NO call. I told him from the start to please call me only. I do not text. I am a 100 percent disabled retired Air Force Major. It says right on my voice mail. Phone calls only please, no texts. I therefore missed this 1 day notice apointment. In September I received another text from Ians son for some reason. I called him and told him to please please only call me and I have been waiting for them to tell me when they could start painting. That was it, never heard from Ian or anyone ever again. Very, very disapointing. When your paying a company almost $18,000 to paint your property and are waiting patiently 6 months for the project to start and they cannot even give you the courtesy of a phone call. What more can be said. Major Michael Stanton, USAF retired"

"They did a decent job. Some problems with detail and trim work, but they fixed it. They also did some extra things, like installing a new toilet seat in the powder room and new plywood under the kitchen sink. I would hire again because of their responsiveness to customer requests/demands."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, painting textured walls is harder than painting standard walls. All the uneven textures make it challenging to get adequate coverage and can leave you with small, bare sections if you’re not meticulous with your painting technique. Textured walls also often require a third paint coat to ensure total coverage, increasing the project time and cost.

Satin paint is better for high-traffic spaces that need to hold up to a lot of cleaning. It’s also best for spaces where walls are free of imperfections since the light reflecting off a glossy satin finish will highlight them even more. On the other end of the spectrum, think of flat paint for walls with dents or divots you want to conceal. Since flat paint isn’t as strong as satin paint, it’s not great for spaces that need a lot of cleaning.

You can certainly paint vinyl baseboards, but you may want to consider why you would. Vinyl baseboards are not very expensive, and if you’re considering painting baseboards over 5 years old, you may want to consider simply replacing them with a color you like—there is an enormous range of color options for this material, and replacement won’t cost too much more than painting them.

Brushes, rollers, and spray paint are the best ways to paint metal surfaces, depending on your project goals. Spray paint is the easiest method for painting metal and can make painting complicated pieces with many curves and grooves a breeze. However, using traditional paint with a roller or brush creates a harder, more durable finish.

Yes. If you change your mind at some point in the future, you can paint over your limewash. To get an even coat of paint, you should first prep your surface by cleaning it thoroughly and applying an appropriate primer. Since limewash has a matte finish once it’s dry, you likely don’t even need to sand it first.
