He returned my call, the same day. I found Greg, a pleasure to deal with. I chose his company to call, over 3 other names I felt fortunate, it worked out so well, and I made an excellent choice. Now have the name of someone who handles all types of home repairs, that does excellent work. I was extremely impressed, that upon walking up to my door, he removed the snow, off the steps. Top notch company!"

All the team (5+ guys) were super courteous and friendly and banged it out in no time at all. Very pleased with the result and the price was competitive. Will be using them again in the future. It was devine intervention that days after the storm the president of Homes and Beyond was given the wrong address to provide an estimate for a basement remediatioon job in my Rockaway neighborhood. When he knocked on my door, we struck up a conversation. I showed him my basement. He was reluctant to take a downpayment from me because I had never met him before, had no references for him, and he didn't want to spook me. Nevertheless, I had a good feeling. I gave him a deposit which he said he would not cash until I had checked out a few references. I went to the homes where he was in the process of doing work, made a few calls, and liked what I heard. He did an excellent job on the basement gutting and remediation. I then hired him to do the outdoor repairs from falling trees and to do the one floor (including new base molding, sheetrock, insulation and painting) inside my house that had water damage. He is currently in the process of renovating my basement, which includes walls (framing, sheetrocking and some cement skim-coating) floor, ceiling, insulation, etc. All of his workers must be given some kind of orientation because they are all super considerate, very neat, etc. I have no complaints and would certainly recommend Homes and Beyond.

"We have worked with Anthony from TAS Construction since 2006. He built a 2nd story addition on our home and completely remodeled the first floor. His work and crew are professional and courteous and you see right away that Anthony cares about his clients. After Hurricane Sandy destroyed the 1st floor of our home, Anthony was there to help us repair the water damage almost immediately. Fast forward to August 2020, and Anthony made time to give us an estimate for some recent storm damage in a few hours. He knows his stuff and has a great eye and ideas that look amazing when implemented. We constantly get compliments on our home and never hesitate to recommend him ."

He did a really good job in fixing my bathroom wall and he even cleaned up the mess. Mr. Rubio was all about business, but I also made some new friends and will continue to use his expertise for future home improvement projects. "First off I live in Queens not Long Island..I got Metro Home Improvements number from someone who used them.. I called Romeo to set up an appointment for an estimate. Not only did he return my call within 15 minutes...he was at my house in Queens within 2 hours...now anyone who would do that gets high a mark from me. Over the years dealing with contractors none had ever responded that quickly...I hired them and I did not regret it. Romeo may have regretted the quote he gave me. My deck isn't big but does have quite a few angles involved and two sets of stairs.. They ripped out the old deck I had for 23 years and reinforced the base structure and started installing the new composite decking on day one ...day two job was completed. They were prompt; curtious and above all neat. I would definitely recommend Romeo and Metro Home Improvement. You will not ne disappointed..Five Stars ...If I could give Ten stars I would..."

"I tried the Home Advisor reluctantly since I don't ever feel you get what you hope for... But in this case I went with Dynamic Exteriors and was really surprised at their response... I sent pictures to all that responded to me. Some had minimums to do the work but Dynamic Exteriors called me and told me they could come the same day 7pm. I was about to change it but I decided to just get it done. It was the best decision I could have made. Most reasonable price, excellent work and good attitude and friendly to talk to. I'm one that likes to watch and learn, he knew exactly what to do no time wasted, done quickly and cleaned up. I'm happy; I to highly recommend them."

I searched Angie's List and after filling out my information, within 20 minutes received a call from Steve at Mr. Handman. I told him my job was very small and honestly I didn't think I'd find anyone for a last minute small job. He had someone over my house that afternoon.
