"I have been in my home for 20 years and have used dozens of service providers for home maintenance - this has been the worst service experience of my home ownership - My initial request for service occurred mid-July 2025 and it has not been resolved (late-September 2025), even after thousands of dollars have been paid. They first sold me an incorrect and overpriced solution for my springs, then a long wait time for a replacement solution, and now no follow-up on the failed replacement solution. Now, I cannot get these people on the phone and I cannot get my garage door open."

"Rob came out, gave us a fair bid, and a crew started the work on time. From what I can tell (without going up on the roof), the quality of the work was good (no leaks yet). However, they did not complete the job before the weather got too cold to continue and they packed up for the winter something last November, 2021. As I write this review, it is September 2022, and I have been waiting 10 months for the roofing job to be completed. For the last three months, Rob has not been returning my calls or texts, so I am stuck with an unfinished job that I will probably have to find someone else to complete."

You don’t need a garage door opener unless you need or desire the convenience they offer. While you may be able to open some garage doors manually, having a garage door opener makes life a lot easier. You can use a wide variety of finishes for garage doors, and the choice comes down to personal preference. You can use a semi-gloss, eggshell enamel sheen, matte, or satin enamel. You may even prefer a solid color wood stain. The key is finding an exterior paint that can withstand the elements your garage door is so frequently exposed to.

The main con of a heated garage is that if cold air comes into your garage and hits warm tools, it could lead to rust. You may also have to deal with the slush and run-off from any snow or ice that comes into the garage from vehicles, leading to more maintenance and upkeep.

You have a few options of paint for garage doors. Acrylic paint offers excellent UV- and weatherproof resistance, easily adheres to surfaces, and dries quickly.
