"We had them come for a free estimate there and when they came to look at a job we want done they said 1,725.00 that's to high price for what we were looking for another guy came aid only 800 but does not have a lift fasso tree service reached out to us on Facebook said contact them they want the business but poorly gave us a high price there one worker told me to contact them and then that's when we found out it was sky rocket they wanted"

A tree can grow back from its stump, but full regrowth is unlikely (especially for more stubborn conifer trees). Yes, if you “paint” or brush a freshly cut stump with a specialty herbicide containing glyphosate within five minutes of cutting the fresh surface, the stump will soak up the herbicide and prevent new growth. One application often works, but you might have to re-paint two to four weeks later if you see growth.

The most common alternative is burning the stump first, then dealing with the cinders and ashes. As you can imagine, this option creates fire hazards, especially since roots can burn underground, hidden, for long afterward. Others prefer a more long-term DIY approach of degrading the stump with home mixtures like Epsom salt and vinegar injected directly into it. It usually takes months for a stump to start falling apart with such treatments, and in the meantime, it can be vulnerable to rot, insects, and other problems.
