"It went very well. Serge was here about half the day and Nick all day. The most challenging part was repairing the ceiling drywall. The attic is above the ceiling. They managed to find the right location in a sea of blown insulation and attached a third 2x4 to the ceiling support. This gave them a stud to attach the split drywall to. They were able to secure the drywall in place and repaired the ceiling such that you really cannot tell it ever happened. Both Serge and Nick were very friendly, courteous and professional. It is hard to find handymen that come when they say, do what they say and do a good job. We were very impressed with Serge and Nick."
"Wow what a great team of hard working guys ! They came by and did everything perfectly and very professionally. Didn't ask for a penny until all the work was done . Now days it's hard to trust people in this business because they take half of the money and take off without doing the job so it's great to finally find someone professional who does what they say. From drywall to the electrical everything was done professionally with skill. I will be calling them back for more home renovations for sure . Thank you Ryan for taking such good care of my home ."

Textured walls are a great way to hide imperfections left over by drywall installation, but many homeowners feel like it’s an outdated look, despite there being so many types of drywall texture. And while the textured walls of today are a far cry from the popcorn ceilings and faux stucco of our grandmother’s homes, if you want a more modern look or you want to install wallpaper, it’s time to smooth out your walls.
When used correctly, drywall patch kits can work well. However, there are limitations. Specifically, these kits can only cover holes up to 5 inches in diameter. For anything larger than that, you’ll need to cut out the affected section of drywall and replace it with a new piece. That’s a far more complicated process that involves buying the right type of drywall, finding the wall studs, cutting into your wall, and screwing the replacement drywall in place.
While it’s most common to sand plaster dry, it is possible to wet-sand plaster, too. Doing so can reduce the amount of plaster dust released into the air and make it easier to work in smaller, more delicate areas (such as around wall trim). However, some people find that wet sanding leads to more imperfections, which is why larger walls are more often dry sanded to ensure an even finish.
A 50-pound mirror can be hung on drywall, but only if it has the support of strong hardware. Ideally, you can find the studs behind the drywall and attach the mirror to them; this will give your mirror better stability. Otherwise, confirm that you are using anchors appropriate to the weight of the mirrors. Another technique is to use French cleats—two pieces of wood that fit together, with one piece attached to the wall and the other to the mirror. This allows the weight to be distributed over a wider area.
Professionals mount TVs using specialized tools and knowledge of different wall materials, ensuring safe support.
