"From start to finish, the experience was professional and seamless. Wilmer was prompt, knowledgeable, and provided a fair and reasonable estimate. His office staff was equally impressive—friendly and efficient in setting up a date for the removal of two trees. When the crew arrived, they got right to work and impressed me with their strong teamwork and coordination. Everyone supported each other, and it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. The cleanup was thorough—no wood, leaves, or stray branches left behind. It’s like they were never even there, except my yard looks so much better now! Highly recommend this team for anyone needing tree removal or cleanup services. They truly set the bar high!"

"I had a great experience with this tree removal service from start to finish. Eric and his team were extremely professional, fully geared, and clearly experienced at what they do. They worked safely and efficiently the entire time, and the tree removal was carried out very carefully without causing any damage to our new deck or patio. What really stood out was their attention to detail and excellent customer service. Eric and team took the time to explain the process, answer all of our questions, and make sure we were comfortable every step of the way. They were also warm and polite people! After the job was completed, the crew did a thorough cleanup and left the area looking spotless. The pricing was very fair, the workmanship was outstanding, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Eric and his team to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and careful tree removal services. Azrin Liomar"

"Carlos and his crew were fast and diligent. They took down three large oaks next to my house with care. They filled the holes without me having to ask and did a great job grinding the stumps. I have used a few other companies before through home advisor and they are certainly one of the best. Highly recommend"

"Don't write many reviews, but when a company does a tremendous job it is clearly well deserved. Found Ercick's company through Home Advisor reviews. Called him and he timely showed up the next day for the estimate. Quoted the fee (didn't know if it was high or low) and said his team could do the tree trimming job the next day, so I went with him. He was very professional and thorough during the estimate visit. Erick and his team promptly showed up the next day and banged out a pretty decent sized job in under three hours. Erick remained on site and supervised all facets of the job. He asked for my input when needed. With the extensive amount of equipment needed and the number of staff members used, it became clear the fee charged was definitely reasonable. Very highly recommend Erick and All Island Tree Service."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

In most cases, your neighbor is responsible for roots from their tree that cause damage to your property. If your pavement, the foundation of your home, or a fence is damaged by roots from a neighbor’s tree, you likely will have legal recourse for financial relief. While it’s better to notify your neighbor of any problems you notice as soon as they arise to avoid costly damage, there are some instances where filing a civil suit is your only recourse. Your homeowner’s insurance company might wish to do so on your behalf if you file a claim.

As a general rule, the protected area should be about 1½ times as wide as the canopy of the tree’s leaves. This digging measurement can vary by tree species and the age of the tree. Of course, that can be a lot of fencing for larger trees, which is why our first step is about making difficult decisions on which trees to save.

For Bradford pears, damage from storms is common, and if the trunk splits, it can pose a danger to people and surrounding structures. The best thing to do in that instance is to have the tree removed. If there’s only minor damage to the branches, pruning away the damaged parts is the first order of business. You may also want to consult a professional arborist to make sure the tree is healthy.

Some people prefer to leave or even carve a leftover stump, but we recommend removing it if possible. You can often dig out smaller trunks with a shovel once they have died and dried out. You can have stumps professionally removed, or request a service to grind them down to ground level so they can be replaced with other landscaping or objects.

A standard tree removal doesn’t include stump grinding. If you want your contractor to remove your tree and grind the stump, you must pay an extra charge. That said, you’ll likely save on the cost of stand-alone service—especially if it’s a small tree and they can finish both jobs in a single trip.
