Upscale Remodeling was founded in 1991 and has been serving our Ithaca community for more than 30 years, but our roots in the area go back centuries. The ancestors of our founder, Steve Nash, settled the Ellis Hollow/Snyder Hill area in the early 1800s and built some of the region’s first homes. Steve learned building by working with his father and grandfather from the age of nine. More importantly, he learned to never compromise and never cut corners. These values still guide us to this day, ensuring that every project is not merely a job but a testament to our commitment to excellence. At Upscale Remodeling, we’re not just remodeling homes; we’re building a legacy. We refuse to compromise on quality because our roots in this community run deep, and we plan to remain here for many generations to come. Upscale worked with us to develop a vision and a specific plan - from the major elements down to the trim - and implemented it beautifully. There were a few problems with subcontractors and we were so appreciative that Upscale held them to account for high quality work -- we did not have to complain, Upscale insisted that the work be done right.
