"If there were 10 stars, I'd give them to Parker's Carpet Care. They did a phenomenal job on my carpets, rugs and carpeted stairway. We have dogs and cats and my carpets look brand new. I'm fussy, I'll admit. The last few carpet cleaning companies I had left me disappointed and weary. (Didn't care, didn't do a good job, wanted to get paid and get out.). Parkers was friendly on the phone, answered questions, confirmed the appointment on day of, showed up on time and did a thorough and completely mindblowing job of cleaning and restoring my carpets. He even did parts of my stairs by hand!! I'm very pleased and can recommend Parker's without any hesitation. Warm, friendly and knows how to clean carpets! Extremely fair pricing, too."

"I recently hired Carol’s Housing Service and was blown away by the results. Carol showed up right on time, came prepared, and worked with incredible attention to detail. She didn’t just do a surface clean—she made sure every corner, baseboard, and hidden spot was spotless. What impressed me most was how thorough and professional she was while still being friendly and easy to work with. My home feels refreshed, and you can tell she takes real pride in her work. I’ll definitely be calling Carol again and highly recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable, detail-oriented cleaning service."

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best way to fix carpet matting is to start by vacuuming thoroughly in multiple directions to lift the flattened fibers. For more stubborn spots, apply moisture with an ice cube or steam, then fluff the carpet using a spoon, comb, or carpet brush. A blow dryer or warm iron over a damp towel can also help restore the carpet’s texture. For deep or widespread matting, a professional cleaning is your best bet to fluff your carpet back up to its former glory.

When using a carpet shampooer, following the manufacturer’s instructions when choosing a cleaning solution is best, especially if you’re renting a shampooer.

Yes, hairspray can remove ink from carpet, but only because it contains alcohol. Alcohol is the solvent that dissolves the active ingredients in hairspray, which makes hairspray behave similarly to rubbing alcohol when applied to a stain.

Carpets do best with non-abrasive cleaning solutions either purchased at the store or made at home. You can apply solutions of salt, water, vinegar, or baking soda to your carpet or choose a carpet-safe cleaner. Never mix the two. In between deep cleans, vacuuming twice a week should do the trick for a clean carpet.

You should aim to have your floors professionally deep cleaned once or twice per year. A deep clean service can remove set-in stains, clean grout between tiles, address water spots or discoloration on wood floors, and make your floors look new again. For households with children, pets, or severe allergies, consider increasing the frequency to four times per year (quarterly). It's also important to perform regular cleaning, such as vacuuming and mopping, in between professional services.
