It turned out that the "French drains" were a trench at the edges of the basement and a sump pump. The drains were not piped to the sump pump. Pat explained the job well and his team performed it quickly. They cleaned up well afterwards. The pump finally gave out last night (after almost 12 years). Arid is going to install new one on Friday."
