"Will and Adam are true professionals and very easy to work with. The concrete pad they constructed for us was completed in a timely manner and the cost was very reasonable. Their workmanship is excellent, you won't be disappointed if you hire them for your project. I intend to have them do a second project for me in the next few weeks. I highly recommend this company for your project."

"Response to our somewhat emergency call was excellent. Jon was on the site within 40 mins of our call and within a few minutes had diagnosed the problem and a resolution. Within one hour of the go ahead with the repair, a crew was on site. The work looks good, resolved the issue and was completed in a timely manner. While at the job site, another issue was brought to Jon's attention at our home. Another division of Trademark was availbale to perform the work the next day. We were not able to get the product we wanted, and were assured that what would be provided would satisfy our needs and was the top of the line product, not true."

"Still some touch ups to be done and gutters. Showed up when they said. Worked clean and neat. Went above and beyond to complete the work. He even came out in a snow storm to try to repair a roof leak. Overall very pleased. Would recommend."

Concrete Resurfacing questions, answered by experts

Yes—as long as the area has been properly prepped. Different self-leveling brands and compounds have their own specific instructions for preparation; some may require that you add primer or grind the surface. Without proper preparation of the surface, the compound will not be able to fully bond to the concrete and fill the cure as a separate layer, which makes it prone to chipping.

Although some concrete cracks are cosmetic, others can be more serious. Cracks wider than ⅛ inch or that extend through the slab are serious and can cause structural damage. If you notice these types of cracks in your concrete patio, contact a local contractor who installs concrete patios to inspect the damage and determine how to fix it.

Yes, it is worth repairing concrete cracks. Concrete cracks are normal, and they can be hard to keep from appearing. However, it is worth repairing cracks in concrete for many reasons. For example, it’s possible to repair concrete to the point where the repair is almost invisible. Also, if the crack is left alone, it can become bigger and more expensive to fix over time.

Minor hairline cracks in your concrete may not look pretty, but they’re often not serious. It’s when concrete cracks are larger—wide enough that you can slide a credit card into it—that you need to worry. If you monitor a crack and can trace its active expansion over time, you’ll definitely want to call in a pro to inspect it and, potentially, repair it. Want to prevent cracks in your garage and driveway concrete in the future? Stay on top of sealing. Here’s how to seal your concrete garage floor and driveway.

The best solution to fix a foundation crack in your basement floor depends on the underlying cause. If you just have hairline cracks from settlements that are no longer growing, the best option is to seal them with a crack sealant. If the cracks continue to grow, one edge rises above the other, or there are signs that water is getting in through the crack, a professional repair will be necessary. Depending on the root cause, your professional may employ foundation underpinning or some other type of stabilization, seal the cracks, or install a drainage system.
