"Sergio, his dad and others helped me transform my home...From tile in the kitchen.. including backsplash, installing a new faucet and microwave, retiling my fireplace, installing a mantel, installing new pendant lamps in my foyer and stairwell, putting a shower into my 1/2 bath... just Amazing..one stop shopping..I dont think there's anything they don't do... the outcome is beautiful and very fair pricing. Sergio was responsive always for everything... listened to my needs and wants. They were neat and trustworthy! They finished everything in a matter of weeks!!! I'm overjoyed..my house is now a home!"

"I recently had the pleasure of working with James from Comfort Cleaning Service for various handyman tasks, and I cant recommend him highly enough! He was truly exceptional, a real champion of customer service. From the moment he arrived on time, his experience and friendliness were evident. He went above and beyond in every task, ensuring everything was done to perfection. He installed a TV mount, a new kitchen faucet, and a wall mirror, fixed a dresser and a filing cabinet, and even inspected a roof leak, following up with the roofing contractor on our behalf. Truly a jack of all trades! His professionalism and dedication to quality work were outstanding. We were so impressed with his services that we plan on having him come back next week to renovate our bathroom. If you need any handyman services, look no further than James!"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Short circuits can cause fires, electrical burns, and electrocution, which can lead to serious injury or even death. That’s why it’s important to take preventative measures to prevent short circuits, like getting annual electrical maintenance and an electrical inspection every two to five years, depending on the age of your home.

No, it is not safe to leave a propane heater on overnight. Even if you’re using the heater in a well-ventilated space, the heaters can emit carbon monoxide that can lead to fires. Be sure to fully turn off and secure the propane heater before clearing the area.

A chimney liner isn’t required for an outdoor fireplace; you don’t technically need one if the masonry chimney uses the proper dimensions and is built to code. However, a chimney liner does serve as a protective coating for the flue. Adding a liner could improve performance, safety, and durability. In short, while not necessary, it wouldn’t hurt.

If a light switch is off, it’s very unlikely to cause a fire. For a fire to start, the switch has to be on, activating an electrical current, and the wiring must be faulty. However, the malfunctioning light switch could cause an intermittent current to move across the electrical wire. This issue could become a fire hazard with another device connected to the wire. You should replace the bad light switch as soon as you notice it or call an electrician.

Concrete homes have better fire resistance because this material is highly resistant to fire and heat. But any paint, siding, windows, roofing, or other materials on a concrete home may still be flammable. Never try to stay in a building with a large, active fire or a wildfire approaching because this can still be deadly. However, building a fireproof home with concrete can better protect the structure against total destruction.
