"He and his team did the job well, in a timely fashion. They were easy to work with too. We recommend him for any Job with these services; sandblasting or dry ice blasting. The price was reasonable too; for the services rendered they were on par with their competition and looking at the end product better quality the others we saw. Well worth the price."

"I needed repairs as a result of wind damage.  The service was prompt.  The office kept me well informed of the time to expect the estimate visit and then the repair service visit the following day.   The work was performed as I expected, and the service people were polite and professional."

"The technician arrived at my home and immediately asked to use my restroom. I told him he would have to wait a moment while I put my dogs away. At that point he tried to push his way in through my front door. I immediately shut the door, locked it and asked him not to enter. I told him to come around to the side of the house where he was able to enter for the restroom and I immediately walked him back out. I did not appreciate that he felt he could let himself in my front door and it made me feel unsafe. I also found it concerning that he didn't have any business cards, arrived in an unmarked vehicle and when he called his phone number appeared as "unavailable". I will not be using this company for any services.

I received a call from the father apologizing for his son's behavior."

"We are very happy with the services provided by AAA Custom Painting. Andres was very friendly, professional and detail oriented. We had our shutters and garage doors repainted along with some additional exterior trim in Oct. 2016 and have been very happy with the results. Our 30+ year old garage doors look new again! We would recommend AAA to any of our friends and neighbors."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.
