"Very professional and timely. When I called to get my lawn mowed because my mower was broken Chris said he could have someone there in the next hour if that worked. I had to schedule later in the week but his crew showed up first thing in the morning just like he said. After everything was complete they asked if I was satisfied and they really did a great job. "Terrible job. Very sloppy with smudges and uneven lines at juncion of different colors, i.e., ceiling and wall, wall and door frame. Coats of paint applied unevenly and spray paint on furniture which hadn't been adequatly protected. I had to pay another painter to rectify it at the cost of another $2,500. Also his painted painted the window shutters open which ruined them. They cost $300. Anthony said he would refund but of course did not. I have never written a bad review of anyone in my life and it doesn't feel good but his blatant disregard for any kind of professional standard is really gauling and I don't want anyone else be ripped off as I was."

You shouldn't paint a metal fence. Painting doesn't necessarily damage a corrugated metal fence, but these types of fences are meant to flex, and paint can easily chip and break off. Latex paints can address this issue, but those tend not to be very weather-resistant. Certain paints can trap moisture in the corrugation, which can rust the metal and lead to corrosion. Pressure-treated wood can not only be painted and stained, but it should be; doing so will help to prevent surface or deck board cracking. Allow the wood to dry out before painting it, as pressure-treated wood from the hardware store takes longer to dry than kiln-dried lumber. If water beads on the surface, it needs additional time to dry—in fact, it can take weeks or even months to fully dry. As soon as the wood absorbs water on the surface, it is ready to be painted or stained.

You can paint an old wooden fence, but make sure first to do a deep clean (ideally with a pressure washer) and inspect the fence for any existing damage. Painting over dirt and debris will cause your paint to peel. Once you’ve cleaned and repaired any minor issues, use a primer and high-quality satin paint.

Manufacturers use a different process and formula for exterior paint versus interior. The exterior formula has to withstand elements like temperature, UV lighting, moisture, wind, and debris. Interior paint doesn’t need to be as tough, only exposed to dust, scratches, dents, scuff marks, and the like.

Whitewashing isn’t permanent, but it can last for a long, long time. When you apply it correctly or have a seasoned pro whitewash your brick, whitewashing can last for 20 to 30 years or longer.
