 + -1 morefirst when he gave me the quote he insisted on being paid cash ahead of time so that was my first mistake for giving it to him. I then started keeping track of how things went each day: 11/6 paid $1500 for materials for roof 11/13 paid him $500 11/13 he worked 10am to 3pm half shingles off and cut down tree brush that was in the way worked 5 hr 11/14 got supplies 9 packs of shingles. Started taking off 2nd half at noon worked 4 hours. 11/15 worked noon to 4 - 4 hours Did not finish - left cap not done 11/16 - no show 11/17 - no-show I then hired someone else to finish since he abandoned the job and cleaned up all the cigarette butts and nails all over my garage and driveway. The red drink stain will not clean up. Materials Shingles 9x35 = 315 Metal - 50 Felt - 50 Disposal ? 100? Total 550 tops 2000- 550= 1400 profit Working a total of 13 hours . I am paying $110 per hour 😠‎
