Inspecting our home, you quickly discovered severe structural issues. Previous contractors never followed the standard codes for construction. My home was at risk - I had rotting footers , an add-on room that was rotted & falling down, a metal roof that was wet under the metal & hid mold issues, a deck that was not installed according to state standards and was shifting with our NY weather conditions, & sadly so much more . Blaze worked with us & our budget to resolve these issues. He made helpful suggestions on issues that needed to be addressed immediately. Blaze & the team stuck with us for 6 weeks of repairs, never leaving our site for other jobs. The team tore down the existing roof & built a beautiful new roof; they tore down & rebuil"

Plywood offers excellent stability and strength for drawer construction. Baltic birch plywood provides a premium appearance, while standard hardwood plywood offers good value. Solid wood works well but requires more attention to grain direction and seasonal movement.

Bump-out additions can add some space to a closet without requiring any significant structural work. This entails pushing back the existing rear or side of the closet, simply moving the wall into either an adjacent room or unused space. For ground-floor closets, this could even be extended to the exterior of the home, but that has its own complications. If, however, you are converting an existing room into a walk-in closet, it will likely drive the value downward. The balance between utility and value is hard to get right, but generally speaking, if you add utility with a built-in closet that doesn’t detract much from the square footage of the room, then you’ll likely add value to your home.
