When they arrived, they claimed our leach field was failing and warned we could face fines if we didn’t replace it. Pressured, we agreed to a $10,000 job. Midway through, after tearing up our yard, they told us the system “wouldn’t work” and pushed a different one—for $30,000. We refused. What followed felt like sabotage. The work was sloppy, our yard was left a wreck, and our kids can’t even play back there anymore. It was fine before. It’s obvious they use bait-and-switch tactics: hook you with one price, then pressure you into paying much more. If you don’t cave, you’re left with garbage work.
