"Love, love love my experience with Platinum Pools and Dave! Platinum did a full remodel on our pool, pool area and pool house! Working with Dave was such a breath of fresh air. "If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Apart from the first call, all other interactions with Evolution Drafting were a bait & switch. From the appt. date for site tech to measure my home, to the experience and skill set of the tech that was sent, to the lack of communication, the experience was awful. Deadlines were not met, no explanation or apology given; only excuses and partial/incorrect work was sent, seemingly in an attempt to appease me. When I did finally receive the initial two drafts of the "as-is" drawing, they had not even captured the exterior deck and facade (windows, doors, garage, etc.) at all, and this was noted from the beginning as the primary scope of work and primary reason for hiring them. Further, nearly every dimension in the "as-is" drawings that they sent me, was incorrect. Existing doors, walls, windows were missing in two iterations of the as-is drawings; delaying the ability to share the concept and desired renovation scopes until there was a correct baseline. The deposit paid was a complete waste as I waited 3+ weeks for the site tech's visit, then the drawings did not start until 3 days before the next milestone set was due to me. In checking dimensions like the length of my existing kitchen, placement of the main entry door to the home, etc., I found all of them to be incorrect. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were dishonest, did not pay their site tech vendor on-time, causing him to contact me with threats of leaning the project before we even had drawings to submit to the city and the management and project coordinators made promises that they did not even attempt to keep or follow-up on promised communications."

"Worked with this company for 7 yrs did multiply jobs in my home always accommodating both way. I recently had a job for Mike to do my entry chandelier lift we order the lift I gave him the money for the lift and balance would be paid upon job completion but that day he came and took down my chandelier and left in in the hallway two day hanging from a huge ladder which I ok bc I trusted he do right thing he also was to put up a medallion that I bought and count return. Long story short when he came back he walked attic and could do the job unless I had a carpenter to come in a move beams in the attic which I refuse bc when moving structure anything can happen he return refuse to put medallion up and just put my chandelier up. Moral of the store is he had to refund me back the lift bc I had no use and he as experience electrician didn’t do he job correctly by walking the space to see if the job was as possible he assumed and was upset he made an error. So he has become incompetent , and sloppy at his work and rushing just to make dollars. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone who does walk thru a job and just assumes."

Originally doing business as Local Dad Repairs, it had at it's heart the goal of helping people in our community keep their homes repaired in hard times. In 2016, with the economy booming and the need for our services diminished,the company shifted it's focus to commercial consulting, serving millwork (custom woodwork and cabinet) companies in the NYC and Washington DC markets. When the corona virus pandemic besieged us all, we realized that there was an opportunity to once again serve our community, but in a more future focused manner that made full use of the skills gained in energy efficiency and home improvement we had developed over the years. LDR is now focused on providing a very special, very important need to our community and our world-hyper energy efficient Passive House buildings as new homes and home renovations.
