"Jesse, the ownee, was very accommodating to our needs with our two cats and a dog. His work was quality. My home belonged to my dad who passed away last May. I don't know when he last cleaned the ceramic tile floors and tile floors in the bathrooms, but they are all looking practically new. He also cleaned what carpet we had as well. I couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend Epic Clean. Patti Finch, Carson City"

"All I can say is that Jose was a tile magician! Multiple rooms in the house had tile walls and the previous owner made a lot of holes to hang pictures. And they were not small holes. At first I was thinking how would someone repair this and make it look un-noticeable. I figured I would give it a try. AMAZED when Jose was done. I honestly could not believe the finished work. He had to show me where the holes were. His color matching was spot on. Would recommend to anyone over and over. Thank you for such good work!"

"We have done quite a few remodel projects, and were thrilled to find Russ at All Inclusive Tile and Stone. If you want an honest, fair and reliable tile setter, I would recommend calling Russ. We did a complete remodel in downtown Reno and Russ set all of our tile in our showers and master walk in shower floor. Now a year later, we called Russ back to demo our fireplace tiles on the floor and lay new big slate tiles. It came out fantastic."

"We had a slow start at first but that was not because of Ryan's service, we originally contacted him in February and was on his schedule for February 24th, however the current Job he was working took longer as the job apparently had grown into a longer job.  So we scheduled to February 27th, and then the rain started we had several much needed storms coming in and it was very important that the decks were totally dry before coating and it had to be dry for at least 48 hours after the coating.  Our next schedule was on April 8th due to March being off and on rain.
When Ryan arrived at 10:00 in the morning he brought the material the his crew would need to complete the job, his crew was a little late but once the started the job they did a very efficient job and cleaned up after they were done they were very pleasant and professional. All in all we are very happy with Ryan and his crew.

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

You can let the tile sit without grout. Don’t panic if there’s a delay between installing the tiles and grouting. A substantial stoppage isn't a problem, provided you keep the tile surface clear of dust and debris. Also, avoid walking over less stable ungrouted floor tiles as they are more prone to premature cracking and shifting.

Deciding between using a shower pan or tile will likely come down to the shower’s design. You can learn how to install a shower pan liner, but it has a standard look similar to most other showers, though there is some flexibility for material and color choices. Tile, on the other hand, can be customized and is set directly into the shower base. However, a shower tile floor is more difficult to install than a shower pan.

It’s not a good idea to lay tile and grout on the same day. The adhesive or thin-set that sticks the tiles to the surface needs plenty of time to dry before you can grout. Wait for 24 to 48 hours, depending on moisture levels in the space. The tiles can become misaligned and more prone to damage if you don’t wait.

Porcelain and ceramic tiles are made from clay, but porcelain tiles are fired in a kiln at a higher temperature. This makes them more durable, but it also means porcelain is more expensive than ceramic at $3 to $5 more per square foot.

Even with the higher price point, many people choose porcelain over ceramic because there are more color and design options.

Tiles last for around 100 years or more. Tiles on backsplashes can last even longer since they’re less likely to crack under foot traffic or from accidental drops, but even tile in high-traffic flooring can last a century or more with proper installation and upkeep. Porcelain tiles are denser and stronger than standard ceramic tiles, so they’ll last longer, often pushing past the 100-year mark.
