"I called looking for someone to come help level the ground and lay pavers for a shed. The owner came out personally and I was very impressed; he said they would be able to help me out and get My Job done in a week/week and a half. I paid him CASH for the estimate/fee for him Come out (which he told me would speed up the process, rather than having to schedule it to pay with a card). Then he never called me back. Ever. I reached out. He never texted, called, or Emailed me back. I never received a quote. I just never heard from him. He took my cash and couldn’t even both to call back to tell me he didn’t want to do it. He clearly had no intention of taking on our project, just wanted some free cash."
