Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling called and left a message for me and I called this morning. My toilet wasn't draining, after repeating plunging. Fore Gen Plumbing called and told me their starting price is $129 and I wouldn't find a lower price. They were wrong. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling quoted me $75 for auger service, from the toilet side. The auger didn't work, so the plumber offered $105 drain cleanout service. When the clog was cleared in 5 minutes, he told me the $105 included a 90-day warranty, free reservice if I have any more clogs, leaks, issues. Corey did an outstanding job, very impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, honesty and integrity. Not only did he call ahead, arrived early, he wore a mask and shoe covers."

"We were thinking of doing this remodel work on our house for a long time. Finally, after saving enough money for the job we were searching for a good contractor to do the work. After reading the reviews [here] for Babcock construction we decided to go with them. The level of responsiveness from their company took us by surprise, they produced a detailed quote for the job within a few days and came over to our house to discuss it. We visited Richard's house and we were immediately impressed by the quality of their work. The work at our house was supervised by David Babcock and I really appreciated his attention to detail and punctuality. It was clear that was thinking about the job full time during the work. He would call me almost daily to discuss the progress and tell me the plan for the current day. We were prepared for a lengthy remodel of both spaces, but we were surprised that it took the Babcock guys only 4 weeks. They were showing up every single day on time and cleaning up at the end of each work day. The subcontractors they work with are among the best and most reliable in the Santa Fe area. I was really impressed by the schedule they have the subcontractors coming to my house and doing the work such that there were no interruptions or hang ups. They own a wood working shop  and they made matching french doors for our sun room and a vanity cabinet for our master bathroom (similar to an online photo). As with any job there were a few surprises measurements/fitting errors, which they immediately addressed and offered solutions. To put it simply my interactions with Richard and David Babcock were always cordial and professional and we found their suggestions helpful and useful. 
I have done my share of home renovations projects on my own so I was worried about hiring a contractor to do the work. I found it extremely easy working with them, as they always provided suggestions, but never forced them onto us. I really enjoyed the flexibility they offered in terms of options in our renovation to accommodate our budget. In conclusion we really enjoy our newly-renovated space and we would hire Babcock construction to do any other home remodel in the future.
