"I switched from another company to Security One, they use the same equipment. They had to come out and recode everything. I simply switched because of the financial benefit. I have only had them for a few months, and I haven't had any problems with them. They save me some money every month. When my alarm went off, they did call me."
"What we liked about this system is that it arrived very quickly after we purchased it. It was very easy and self explanatory to set up. Frontpoint's customer service is way above par; their reps are super helpful and friendly. This alarm system is great for military families because you can move it with you. Their response time is incredible. Our smoke alarm went off and they quickly took action. I was alerted within 30 seconds, and the fire department was at my home in less than five minutes. Everything turned out to be fine, our alarm had just fallen off the wall, but it made me feel very secure in my new home.
"I belong to a well-reputed and extensively experienced law firm. When we prepare for the court trials, we try out best to collect all the supporting evidence. For that, we hire a good investigation team and I do not think that any other investigation company than Private Investigator National can do this job better than they. Their investigation has just reversed the case many times. Full five stars to them."

"There were many things wrong in my computer (my fault and letting grandchildren on computer) Robert was so helpful, gave me many good instructions to keep everything safe, which I have written down, feel like I have a new computer. He was so excellent and experienced, took his time and was meticulous about what needed to be done. He was a pleasure to work with and I will use this company again! Linda Disy"
"So in short the company was found to be a rip off scheme. They send you the equipment via mail and you install it. Low grade stuff. The sensors are secured by a low grade adhesive. The company's primary goal is to get you locked into their contract. They do provide the service of an alarm company, but when things go south (ie: you move) they still hold you to the contract. And the contract is very slick. You have I believe 48 hours after you put down the deposit to back out, after that they have you for 2 years. We cancelled within the first 24 hours and they still attempted to bill us 3 times after that. We mailed their equipment back first class signature required and tracking. They claimed every time they tried to bill us that they never recieved it. And then after we faxed the proof they said sorry, only to have a new guy call and advise the same thing a month later. "
"Was told on the phone I would have Internet service....and then after installing TV services, I found out they do not have Internet services in my area. Also, when it would sprinkle rain, there would be no service. "
"They take money on muy account for my home warranty service, and they are very responsive, and very reliable. They send Repair companies to my house for repairs and services."
"It is a good experience and I currently am still using them. One thing I do not like is the paying system. I have to pay one month before I get the service. So they have one month of money before I get the service. That is just the way they bill. It is unusual because most places bill you after I use their service. So they will always have one month of my money before I get the service. I chose this company because they were recommended by a friend who had used them for several years so I did not do competitive shopping. I don't know if there are better prices, but to me it seemed reasonable."

Recessed lights, as with any kind of light, can be a fire hazard if not installed correctly. Because of this, it’s best to have a professional complete the installation for you. Properly installed lights should not pose a threat and often have heat sensors installed in them that turn the light off if the temperature gets too high.
You should change the batteries in your smoke detectors at least once per year. Mark it on your calendar or make it a holiday or birthday tradition so that you always remember it. You should also be testing your smoke alarms monthly to ensure they’re working properly and can alert you in case of an emergency.
Having a pellet stove can indeed raise your insurance rates since they're a relatively common cause of fires in the home. However, rate increases vary by insurance provider so you should reach out to yours to determine exactly how much your rates might increase with a new pellet stove install.
Yes, a hot or overheating outlet is a fire hazard and can cause a fire. An outlet becoming hot indicates an electrical problem, such as an overloaded circuit, loose connections, or a faulty component. The heat from these issues can ignite nearby flammable materials like curtains or furniture. If you notice an outlet is hot to the touch, turn off the power at the circuit breaker, unplug any connected devices, and consult a qualified electrician. If a fire does start, use a Class C fire extinguisher or baking soda to suppress it, or evacuate immediately and call the fire department.
Yes, fire extinguishers eventually expire. However, the good news is that a properly stored fire extinguisher can last a decade or longer. They don’t have an expiration date on the canister, but you can check the manufacturing date on the “UL” nameplate near the classification information. Maintenance will also give your fire extinguisher longevity. Check the gauge at the top of the extinguisher every month. You'll want to make sure the gauge needle is in the green section, and if a hose or nozzle has been used or damaged, you need to replace it.
