It was hard choosing a company to trust with replacing my roof but I’m very glad I went with Alliance. I’d recommend them to a friend or family member."

"I would not recommend Professional Contracting Builders LLC to anyone. They are not professional, fail to comply with building standards, and their work is sub-standard. Once the contractor gets the signed contract and receives the first and second major payments, they do not visit the work site to ensure that work is being done as promised. They assigned a contract manager that is basically inexperienced and lacking in attention to detail. We kept the owner-contractor fully informed, by email, listing items that concerned us. He came to our house displaying an irritative behavior and gave us an ultimatum to stop the emails or he would end further work on the contract. He left our house in an angry mood and walked out on the contract, leaving us with unfinished work. They used unlicensed employees to do the electrical and plumbing work. Light switches were not properly coordinated with lighting and had to be redone. They refused to install GFIs where we requested them, for the microwave and the toaster oven. Receptacle cutouts were sloppy and some cutouts were larger than the cover plates show gaps around the cover plates. We had to insist on a licensed contractor to reconnect our electric stove top. Relocation of the refrigerator water line was done twice and was done by an unlicensed plumber. We're still not sure if the connections were properly sealed and if there are no leaks in the subfloor. While working on this item, the employee forced the refrigerator against the countertop and damaged the refrigerator door. They did replace the refrigerator door after about a 2-month delay. The finished drywall, painting, and flooring looked substandard. Drywall work was done twice and patchwork and re-framed door joint outlines were clearly visible. They left gaps on the hardwood flooring, the transition from wood floor to tile on door threshold was left uneven and shoddy, paint smears were left on all light fixture trims, sloppy tile work (large visible gap) in the pantry. To complete our remodel, we had to hire other, more competent contractors to do the hardwood floors, the pantry shelving, fireplace hearth, tile work, and cleanup of blotched paint and drywall on finished trim."

Masterson painting began in 1981 by James Masterson. After his passing, his wife Tracey, took over and continued to operate the company. Fast forward, and the business continues to be family owned. Operations are managed by Tracey and their son, Travis Masterson. This small mom & pop business has continued to provide high quality paint for all projects small to large. They continue to bring a collective 40 years’ worth of wisdom to your project. It’s amazing how the power of color and good design can improve your well-being. After all, any painter can slap paint on a wall. Our mission goes deeper. At our core, we share the same artistic desire you are visualizing. We know a house project can be daunting. We’ll help you get it right! We’ve been helping New Mexicans beautify their homes, one space at a time. When you want ‘Masters on Paint’, you have reached the destination. Give us a call today for a free estimate.

"It was excellent."

Lifetime Roofing and Stucco is a licensed and bonded business in the State of New Mexico. We specialize in residential roofing and stucco and offer quality products and services that are sure to bring our customers back for future projects. We have a remarkable crew that has been a part of our team for many years. Our goal is to provide you with the finest products and services.

"Called many different roofers for a problem that was relatively easy. We had ridiculous quotes ranging from $4,800 to 1,000. In a way this was like a test because we knew what the problem was. Christoval was the only one who accurately told us what the problem was and didn't inflate the cost of repair. I was also impressed with how he explained the problem in easy to understand terminology and excellent examples. He was prompt, professional, courteous and did excellent work. And If Christoval couldn't get any better he didn't even bat an eyelash when my newly adopted shelter dog made a run for it down the street. In 100 degree weather he jumped into action and successfully helped me get my dog back. Our family has been looking for a honest and dependable roofer for the multiple properties we have. I am happy to say we have finally found one with Lifetime Roof and Stucco. Do not hesitate to call this company. I have been through a majority of the roofers here in town and have yet to find one as competent and well priced."

Siding questions, answered by experts

While bleach can be effective in killing mold, it may not fully remove mold stains from siding. Additionally, bleach can be harsh and may damage certain types of siding. It's recommended to use specialized mold cleaners or natural alternatives that are safe for your specific siding material as a part of your regular siding maintenance

Hail as small as 3/4 inch (about the size of a penny) can cause damage to your siding. When hail reaches 1 inch in size, you can expect to see more cracks, chips, and holes, and hail that’s 1 and 1/4 to 1 and 1/2 inches around will cause significant damage. If you see hail that’s 1 and 1/2 inches to 2 inches or more in size, the damage is likely to be extensive and possibly even dangerous.

Acrylic latex paint is the best exterior paint for vinyl siding. It adheres well to the vinyl surface, reducing the likelihood that the paint will peel or flake.

The paint color also matters. Choose a light color to prevent the paint from absorbing too much heat and to extend the durability of your paint job.

Traditional clapboard siding, particularly with panels made from wood, is not a significant insulator on its own. However, you can keep your home cooler in summer and warmer with "insulated clapboard siding," which is a type of vinyl clapboard siding with a built-in foam insulation. Consult a local siding contractor to determine whether insulated siding is right for your home.

Stucco is considered a type of cladding because it includes a built-in ventilation layer, a weatherproof membrane beneath that, and, often, a layer of insulation to improve building efficiency. The multiple layers of stucco—the scratch coat, the brown coat, and the finish coat—also create a more complex building membrane, so it’s more accurate to call it cladding. However, homeowners and contractors alike refer to stucco as siding.
