We are a Handyman business and we do mainly small jobs that others contractors don't want to do. There is is no jobs to small for us. We are a jack of all trades. We cant do electrical. I have been in construction and painting all my life. I learnt it from my Farther. I am a perfectionist and will always to it right. I love helping people and love what i do.

Masterson painting began in 1981 by James Masterson. After his passing, his wife Tracey, took over and continued to operate the company. Fast forward, and the business continues to be family owned. Operations are managed by Tracey and their son, Travis Masterson. This small mom & pop business has continued to provide high quality paint for all projects small to large. They continue to bring a collective 40 years’ worth of wisdom to your project. It’s amazing how the power of color and good design can improve your well-being. After all, any painter can slap paint on a wall. Our mission goes deeper. At our core, we share the same artistic desire you are visualizing. We know a house project can be daunting. We’ll help you get it right! We’ve been helping New Mexicans beautify their homes, one space at a time. When you want ‘Masters on Paint’, you have reached the destination. Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Wallpaper lasts an average of around 15 years, but there is some variance. The type of wallpaper matters, as vinyl wallpaper tends to last the longest—sometimes 20 years or more—while a peel-and-stick wallpaper, which is the easiest to install for DIYers, will usually only last for around five years. Exposure to high humidity, smoke, and UV rays from sunlight can also limit the lifespan of your wallpaper, as can heavy traffic in the installation area.

While peel-and-stick wallpapers require no time to cure, the adhesives for other types of papers will take a day or two to dry and up to three weeks to fully cure. The differences are the type of paper, the type of adhesive, and the humidity and temperature in the space.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.

It’s possible to hang your own wallpaper, but the process is tedious and potentially frustrating, and it can be challenging to get seams to line up and look clean and professional. Plus, depending on the type of wallpaper you’re installing, using too much or too little adhesive could cause damage to your drywall or plaster, peeling, and bubbling in the final product. It’s usually a better idea to hire a professional wallpaper installer to do the work for you, as the relatively low cost is justifiable, if only to avoid damage to your walls.

Installation typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the wall’s size and site conditions.
