"The crew was professional, punctual, friendly, polite and especially knowledgeable. They arrived with all of the appropriate equipment to perform the jobs at hand. We were replacing two trees with two large trees and the hole preparation was exactly to specifications. The area around the base of the new trees was clean and looked manicured when they were finished. The owner, Santiago, trimmed three large rosemary plants to perfection. My husband and I were so pleased that we are planning more work in the near future. We would highly recommend this company for all your landscaping and maintenance needs. "Lawn Patrol removed five dead pecan trees and one mulberry tree. Their price was great, even with the bee problem in the mulberry. I look forward to working with them again."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Homeowners are usually not responsible for trees that fall on power lines. Power companies usually have utility easements around power lines, which give them the responsibility to maintain any trees within about 15 to 20 feet of the lines.

Any cutting of tree roots can hurt or kill a tree, which is why it's recommended you don’t do it unless the roots are damaging or invasive on a nearby structure like your home. You should never cut more than 15 percent of above-ground tree roots at one time. If you have any questions about cutting tree roots, contact your local arborist.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000 per tree, depending on size, location, and accessibility.

Unlike some fruit trees, such as apple, sweet cherry, or pear that require at least two trees for pollination, most peach trees are self-pollinating. This means you can plant just one tree and still expect it to produce fruit, typically within two to four years. For best results, consult with a local landscaper to choose the right peach tree variety for your specific climate, soil type, and yard layout.

The exact answer to this question depends on which region of the country you’re talking about, but according to various tree counts, some of the most common types of trees in the United States include red maple, Douglas fir, quaking aspen, loblolly pine, and sweetgum.
