"More than satisfied - excellent work demolishing and removing a cinder block wall. The area was completely cleaned up afterwards, all debris was collected and removed. The immediate, as well as surrounding area, was cleared and leveled just to add a nice unexpected finish. Very happy with the work, communication, and extra effort by Miguel resulting in a finished job that was better than I expected. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again!!! Thanks for a job well done!"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

After a land survey in Las Vegas, it's important to periodically check that your boundary markers remain undisturbed, especially after construction or landscaping. The San Miguel County Assessor's Office recommends keeping survey documents in a safe place and updating records if you make property changes. If monuments are damaged or moved, consult a licensed land surveyor to reestablish boundaries and notify the appropriate local authority.

Helpful?

In Las Vegas, homeowners often mistakenly assume existing fences reflect true property lines or begin projects before a survey is finalized. Overlooking easements recorded with the San Miguel County Clerk's Office or hiring unlicensed surveyors are also common errors. To avoid issues, always verify your land surveyor's credentials, communicate clearly about your property's history, and consult local authorities before starting any boundary-related work.

Helpful?

In Las Vegas, unexpected costs during land surveying can arise from additional research required by the San Miguel County Clerk's Office, challenging terrain that requires specialized equipment, or the need to replace missing boundary markers. If your property is near historic sites, the New Mexico State Historic Preservation Division may require extra documentation. Utility location services and coordination with local authorities can also introduce unforeseen steps in the process.

Helpful?

In Las Vegas, land surveying for property boundaries or subdivision work may require coordination with the San Miguel County Planning and Zoning Department. While standard property boundary surveys usually do not require a specific permit, monument setting or subdivision plats often need approval from the Las Vegas City Planning Department. If your survey affects public rights-of-way or historic districts, you may also need to consult the New Mexico State Historic Preservation Division.

Helpful?

In Las Vegas, the time to complete a land survey depends on property size, terrain, and research requirements. Simple residential property boundary surveys are typically finished within one to two weeks, while surveys involving irregular lots, multiple parcels, or historical records may take longer. Coordination with the San Miguel County Assessor's Office or City Planning Department can also affect the timeline, especially for subdivision or development projects.
