"We recently moved to Las Cruces from Maine & needed our property to be maintained. It had been empty for a year or so, so needed a lot of clean up & trimming...the trees & bushes were out of control!! We are not familiar with the trees & landscape here so called the professionals!! We contacted Gonzales Landscaping & they were FANTASTIC! The owner "Mr G" returned my call right away! He made a visit to us for a free estimate & scheduled service right away! We had our entire property in PRISTINE condition in 5 days from the time I first called and very affordable. His son & partner Andres Gonzalez came with his wonderful crew & they worked in a timely matter & VERY efficiently! They have all the tools & "know how" to get the job done well! We could not be happier & will have Gonzales Landscaping be our forever Landscapers here in Las Cruces. We highly recommend them if you are looking for a great Company to make your home beautiful! Call Mr G & Andres Gonzales at 866 986 5478 or visit them on line at: [*** Link removed ***] You will be happy you did!"

"Professional crew and quality work. Very reliable. Ricky said he would be here at 8:30 AM, and the whole crew rolled in at 8:28 AM. The crew removed old gravel, dirt, and dead plants from my front yard. They leveled the yard, spread new gravel, and reset the river rocks. Once finished, they cleaned up the job-site. The results are beautiful. JOB WELL DONE!"

"We needed movers to deliver furniture from the store to our condo in Miami. Moving APT is very organized and has professional movers. I had a heavy couch but my movers handled it with great attitude and sense of humor. When a business gets 5 stars from me it is well deserved. Thank you for your help!!!"

Concrete Disposal questions, answered by experts

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

Your garbage disposal is not draining because it might have a clog due to food waste, a foreign object, grease, oil, fat, or it may have a broken motor. When water doesn't flush out of the disposal, that's a key sign that your disposal has a clog or needs repair.

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.

Whether it's worth repairing your garbage disposal depends on its age and the specific problem. Generally, if the unit is eight years old or younger, repair is a good option. For minor issues like a bad seal or a simple jam, a repair can be inexpensive, sometimes under $10. However, if the motor is broken (a repair that can cost $150 or more) or the unit is getting old, it's often more cost-effective to replace the entire disposal.

In some cases, it’s more cost-effective in the long run to replace a garbage disposal, but it depends on the specific issue you’re having and the age of your disposal. You should ask a garbage disposal repair tech for a quote to repair your appliance and then see if it would be more worthwhile to replace it. Additionally, garbage disposals last for around 15 years, so if you know your appliance is reaching that age, it’s likely better to pay for a new garbage disposal rather than sink money into repairs.
