"I had a rod iron fence attached to top of wall. Looks great! A crew of 4 men worked hard, and long hrs to get finished in one day. Put everything away and cleaned up afterwards. Looks very nice."

"Service and craftsmanship was above and beyond! I ordered a custom grand entry French door for my house. What I got was a beautiful work of art that never fails to make an impression on new visitors. I spoke with Elijah, and he made sure the whole process was as smooth as possible. When he showed me the designs I could conceptualize the idea, but after the quick and easy installation was completed I was shocked at how it transformed my home. The best part about it it came with a free ten year warranty. After about a year, the hinges were a little squeaky, called them up to see if they could take a look at it. For no charge at all they came out worked on it and were in and out in a half hour. 10/10 would recommend."

"Mr.Perry was a pleasure to deal with.He was extremely detail orientated, excruciatingly polite and punctual at all times. The fence he installed has gotten many positive reviews from neighbors and family. I would hire him again for any fencing I needed and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality fence. Unfortunately he only does metal but he is great. He also does automatic gates if you need them."

"Very professional crew, they had my 150ft by 80ft shop built in no time. Installed three jumbo remote garage doors for a very reasonable price. I will be using this company again for my upcoming projects."

"Hugo was very nice, and let me know when he could come or was delayed. The pictures he showed me of previous work were a finished product. But I ended up with bare boards. I had to pay extra for the weatherproofing and of course the boards are not "finished" or painted yet. It would have been better to have had him clarify that for the price I was getting bare boards, not a finished product like his pictures appeared to have. But the fence seems strong and sturdy. Several screws in the posts and hinges were missing and he did come back and fix that, or was have as of today. He is very friendly, but would have been nice to have had the job done in one day and overwith."

Welding questions, answered by experts

Welders use a variety of methods in their trade. Different types of welding are better suited for different purposes and contexts. For example, stick welding is a versatile form suitable for most metals and alloys. The most common types of welding include:

  • Stick welding: $100–$1,000

  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Gas welding: $150 and up

  • Forge welding: $15–$25 per hour

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.

Professional metal fabricators typically charge around $70 per hour, but the total cost of your project will depend on several factors. The largest cost drivers are the size, complexity, and design of the project, as well as the price and type of metal used. A good way to estimate the total cost is to multiply the cost of raw materials by four; typically, one-quarter of the total goes toward materials and three-quarters toward labor. Your geographic location can also influence costs, as labor and material prices vary by region.

Yes, you can use a saw to cut metal pipes. The best saw to use is a reciprocating saw, but even a fine-tooth hacksaw can get the job done. No matter which saw you use to cut metal pipes, wear protective gear, like work gloves, safety goggles, and ear plugs. Apply a firm, steady pressure to the tool, and always ensure the pipes are secured so they don't move while you make the cuts.

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.
