"Great job by Joe and his sons from Pellicore Concrete. They did a great job for me with a concrete patio at the back of my house. Completed the job in a short period of time without rushing. Very satisfied, Joe was very helpful and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future."

"Sam and his crew were so professional, courteous and respectful. I hired them to repair my front concrete steps. Sam quoted a reasonable price to install limestone, concrete, and place bricks all around the steps. I love my steps. The workmanship is so neat and the clean up was a wonderful touch. The attention to detail and efficiency was impressive. I will most definitely be using Professional Renovations for my future projects."

"Work was done professionally. The reason for three stars is VALUE. The same American Standard Pro elongated , chair height toilet is $179.00 at Home Depot. This includes the toilet seat and all parts needed to install the toilet. Labor from one of the Home Depot plumbers is $228.00 . This includes removal and disposal of the old toilet. I paid your company $691.00.You charged $350 for the same toilet. You charged $40 for the plastic toilet seat. You charged $350 for labor. This installation would have cost $407.00 from Home Depot with a one year warranty. Of course, there would have been a two week wait for installation. Since this was not an emergency, that would have been no problem. So your company charges 40% more than Lowes also. I can give you the figures if necessary==apples to apples. That is why I had to ask Michael for a detailed invoice . The original invoice was opaque with no details regarding cost of parts and labor."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on unit complexity, labor, wall mounting needs, and additional accessories like floating shelves.

Yes, but you’ll need reliable steel-cutting tools and safety gear to get started. Shipping containers are typically around ¾ inch thick, so it’s entirely possible to cut through them, but experience and the right equipment are very important. When possible, try to get a container as close to the size you want it as possible.

This all depends on the tools you have on hand and whether you’re trying to cut a straight line or shapes.

The best tool to use for straight lines is either a circular saw or table saw. When cutting shapes, a jigsaw will be the easiest and most precise tool to use.

There are a few things you can ask welders before you hire them to get an idea of their experience and ability levels:

  • Are you licensed and certified?

  • How long have you been in the welding business?

  • Do you commonly do the type of welding I need?

  • Do you offer any kind of warranty for your work?

  • Do you charge by the hour or by the project?

  • How long do you expect my welding project to take?

  • What steps do you take to minimize errors in your work?

While a high-speed circular saw will cut through metal, and even cut through multiple sheets at once, the fast-spinning saw blades create a lot of heat. This heat can damage paint and other protective coatings, leading to serious problems like rust over time. The cost to paint a metal roof again to avoid this damage is typically an additional $0.50 to $1 per square foot.
