"We were super impressed with the quality of work, professionalism, and responsiveness of Angel and his team. Even with the COVID-19 outbreak going on, Angel was able to make an initial visit to survey our property and discuss projects within a day of sending an inquiry, and was professional about maintaining social distancing throughout the discussion. We had a quote in just over a week (even with the busy season just picking up) and were able to get started on the projects after a bout of rainstorms passed. Angel's team worked swiftly and professionally, and did a beautiful job helping us clean up our property. We had several garden beds that had not ever been properly edged and had fallen to disrepair before we moved in last summer, and they now look better than we could've imagined. They were able to clean out weeds and dead/dying plants, move a few plants around to rebalance the garden, trim bushes back, install a butterfly garden, lay new mulch, even out and fill divits in throughout the yard, and install a small fence -- all within 2-3 days of work. As noted, Angel runs a really professional team, and did an amazing job sourcing high quality plants, mulch, and fencing at very reasonable and competitive prices. Angel is highly communicative throughout in terms of giving heads up about the project status (especially when things change, like having to push our start date due to inclement weather). After having some bad experiences in the past with contract yard work, I have had my faith restored by Angel's team and would happily work with them again, and encourage anyone looking for high quality, fast, professional work to give them a call."

"They haven t started work yet but if their work is anything like their customer service I have them 5 stars . They have been great with all my indecisiveness and questions . Comparatively with other estimates, hands down , better value , I can only hope the job they do is as wonderful as Dennis has been with the timely manner he has come a few times now for different estimates for my ever changing mind ."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

There are tools known as “sprinkler donuts” that are specially designed to aid in cutting the grass around your sprinkler heads by protecting them from your mower or weed whacker. You can also use a pair of hand shears to do the job manually if you’re willing to get a little dirty.

Yellow leaves and stems on your sprouts indicate they’re not getting enough light. Keep them near the appropriate light source and give them as much as they need (they require longer exposure to fluorescence than they do to natural light sources).

No, definitely not. Pulling weeds by hand is the single most effective way to remove them because you're eliminating the entire plant—roots and all—so it won’t have a chance to grow or spread. Setting time aside a few times per week to pull weeds can keep them at bay. If the number of weeds gets overwhelming, then you can resort to other methods.

The best time to fight crabgrass with pre-emergent herbicide is when forsythias tend to bloom. In the mid-Atlantic region, this is usually between April and May. Even if you're late to apply the herbicide, it’s effective as long as the crabgrass plant has fewer than five leaves.

Dandelions, while hard to control and widespread across the country, are not typically categorized as noxious. Yellow starthistle, however, looks very similar to a dandelion and is highly damaging to local plants and invasive across the country.
