"Atticare did a thorough evaluation of the home. Because the soffits were in disrepair, there was a pest issue. Atticare did a great job coordinating with the roofers. The old insulation was removed and the area was inspected for pests, cleaned and sanitized. They returned after the repair to make sure all was sealed, and installed the new insulation. They also helped lay down some plywood for some flooring in the space as an extra. Before doing their work, they laid down material to protect the floor and removed everything cleanly. They were efficient with their work and I was pleased with the job they did. The job was priced as quoted with no surprises. Spray foam insulation doesn’t do well around heat sources. Therefore, You can use spray foam insulation to seal around HVAC boots that penetrate through the drywalls or around where wrapped ducts connect to the boots, but we don’t recommend using spray foam insulation to encapsulate your air ducts. Spray foam insulation on air ducts is also less effective compared to duct wraps.
Cellulose insulation is usually made from recycled paper products, such as old newspapers, but cellulose might also contain recycled denim.
