"My wife and I have dealt with quite a few different landscapers over the years, and while most are have been competent, their bench strength is not always deep. Once you get past the estimator/owner, the skills of the rest of the team drops off considerably. We have found that, at the end of the day, successful projects and happy customers are the result of having a strong team end-to-end. Our latest project involved removal of some of our existing landscape plants, and replacing them with more appealing plants, as well as the addition of some landscape lighting, and mulching. We called Pierce L. Shallis Landscaping (found via Angies list) and scheduled an appointment. When we first met with Pierce L. Shallis to discuss our project, we were very impressed with him. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. As things progressed, we became acquainted with the rest of the Shallis team: Cody was very good to work with in reviewing and mangaging the lighting package as well as the overall project execution. Heather and Barbie provided excellent and courteous front office support, communications and coordination. Both Pierce and Cody were present on the day the project was completed and were able to quickly answer any questions or concerns The install team was friendly, courteous, hard working, and meticulous. They had to come out a second day with a longer ladder to finish up but the end job was worth the wait. We did the lights around the bushes which balanced the others beautifully. "Everything turned out fine. When it first arrived, it was damaged in the shipping. It took them quite a while to get something back to us, or even to call me back when I wrote to them. But then, once they got the ball rolling, it went very quickly. It took them probably about a month to even get back to me. The price was very good. Once somebody actually did speak with me, they were very responsive. They were pretty professional when I spoke to them. I just think that they were light on manpower."

He was friendly professional and extremely sincere. Its hard to find good contractors I always look for integrity, honesty, professionalism and quality. Miguel possesed all 4 qualities so we decided to go with the patio. We discussed design and paver color combination. Miguel assured me the As the project started we decided to add benches and some landscaping on the side of the house and behind the patio. Miguel and his crew were all very polite kind and thorough. The workmanship is incredible and Miguel takes pride in his work so every aspect is checked. The project came out better than I expected and I am beyond pleased. We now have an additional living space where we can entertain and host gatherings I am extremely satisfied with the patio. Its absolutely beautiful. "They were a little sloppy but after me telling them they went back and cleaned the mess up. I would think twice if they were painting the inside due to their sloppy nature."

"The crew removed overgrown plants, trees and shrubs from the front flowerbeds very quickly. They planted new shrubs and flowers, and spread mulch. All of this was done within 4 hours, and it looks very nice. They also trimmed some overhanging branches and felled a dead tree and removed the debris. The work area was cleaned and raked, and looks great."

Needed, or "thought"we needed more amps -added to our 100a service Because of "flickering" lights throughout the home. Nope. We were only told this by 3 other electricians. Phil, came out, and gave me the HONEST scoop -on what was really wrong: just a freshening up, of all of the hardware, connectors, and corrosion, that had built up, on the service over the years. Very reasonable, and very reliable. I can't say enough. Integrity, means everything to me, as a consumer/man. Phillip, is as good as it gets. If you want an honest electrician.
