Customers say: Quick response

"Robert first came out to my house to fix a really bad clogged drain in our kitchen. He also came when it was convenient for us after work for both myself and my wife. He guarantees his work for 30 days with a clogged drain, well he ended up coming back yesterday and he came when he said he would and he completely fixed the problem. he was very professional and honest and didn't charge me for coming back to fix the issue. I would recommend them to anyone with problems. Mike"

"Great! The workers are very professional and punctual. They installed a tankless water heater. They cleaned everything up when they were done and then explained how it worked and how to maintain it throughout the years so it would work better. I highly recommend this company."

"Luiz is multitalented. He’s fixed several drain clogs, showed me which products I can use safely on my drains, and even help me pick out the right filters to prevent further clogs from my washing machine. In the past, he has done other plumbing work like changing faucets and replacing old pipes. He has also done electrical work around the house, including installing a circuit to charge an electric car. He has done many other odd jobs around the home as well. He always comes when he says he will and seems to know how to fix just about anything I highly recommend Luiz as a Plumber, Handyman, and electrician."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Drain pipes carry wastewater from sinks, toilets, showers, and other fixtures to the main sewer line. They’re typically located within the walls and floors and beneath a home’s foundation. Meanwhile, sewer pipes transport collected wastewater to a septic tank or a municipal sewer system.

Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. They’re also longer than other drains, allowing for more space to let debris fall into the drainpipe.

A two-way cleanout can help if there’s already a clog, but the best strategy to prevent one is by not rinsing grease, oil, or fat down your drains, not flushing or rinsing coffee grounds or egg shells down your drains, flushing only human waste and toilet paper (so no diapers, period products, bathroom wipes, or paper towels), and using drain guards on all of your drains.

As a preventative measure, hydro jetting should be done every one to two years. However, the best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. The ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the age and condition of your pipes, how prone they are to clogging, how often the sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. If you frequently experience clogs or are unsure, it's best to ask a licensed plumber for a recommendation specific to your plumbing system.

Inspect regularly for clogs, clean drain lines, and ensure grading directs water away from the foundation.
