"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. "I hired Rob for a smaller job initially, to replace a section of drywall in a bathroom I was remodeling. He was prompt, very professional and his communication to me on what would be done and how was very refreshing. When I remodeled a bedroom, Rob was the only one I called, he came in and did the walls and ceiling. The last project I had a couple of months back was a laundry/half bath. "I closed on a house that had wall-to-wall carpet in most of the rooms a week before going on vacation. I contacted Five Star and Ricardo responded right away, we scheduled for him to come see the job that needed to be done (he was very punctual), and did the work while I was away and the house was still empty. I had 2 other estimates and his price was the most reasonable. Since the house was empty and some of the work had to be done at night there were some minor issues such as a few staples (literally about 5) that were not fully removed and a spot that was missed due to lack of adequate lighting.
