"Roven took the time to explain the process and the details involved in installing Belgium blocks along my driveway and a flower bed nearby that was edged with old, crumbling concrete. He extended the walkway to my front door with stone tile and at a reasonable cost. The end result met my expectations and I will use this company again for other projects."

"Our patio and walkways around inground pool had became uneven after 34 years. Quality First came out and made all the concrete level after adjusting 8 sections of the walkway and two sections of the patio seating area. We are pleased with the results!"

"Ned is an artisan! His work is a beauty to behold. I found him by chance when I saw him down the block mudding a house foundation. I needed that done. He came an hour or two later and gave me an estimate. He started work 7 days later. Flawless! I call him when ever I need work done around the house. He installed railings, grab bars & indoor outdoor carpeting for a friend who was coming out of a rehab facility after hip surgery. He called me at 11PM at night to let me know he was working in my friend's house so that it would be ready the next morning for my friend's return. He is a craftsman who refuses to dilute his brand by hiring unskilled workers."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.

A sinking foundation can be lifted, most often by installing piers to re-level and support the weight of the house. Depending on the cause and extent of the sinking, other methods to lift a foundation include underpinning and mudjacking. Consult a foundation repair pro to determine the best way to lift your sinking foundation.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.

Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.
