"Had paneling removed from plaster walls that were glued on. Robert gave a very fair price and was cost concious. All the spots were the plaster came off had to be spackled. For the final coat he inspected very closely to see any spots that needed to be touched up.He cleaned up daily and the final clean up was excellent. I would recommend him."

When Jose saw a flaw in the ceiling spackle after the job was complete, even though the flaw was not visible during the day, he came back the next evening to correct the issue and had the area repainted. The team also respackled and repainted a wall to correct the shoddy work of a previous painter, and the wall now looks perfect. "It went VERY, VERY WELL.  I couldn't be more pleased.  Peter, who set up the contract, listened sensitively to my initial ideas and devised solutions to some tricky issues. Johnn, the supervisor, showed up frequently and was gracious about following up with all my requests and feedback.  It was easy to reach them  by phone or email with queries. The team completed the exterior work and interior priming in August then accommodated a 3-month delay on completing the interior to give us time to deal with infrastructural issues. They also accommodated a 6-day interruption so that we could get everything set up for relatives staying with us for Thanksgiving. At no point in working with them did I ever feel rushed or pressured.
The workers, especially Rick and Joel, were courteous and very professional. They always showed up on time and worked intensely. They moved furniture and removed fixtures where necessary. They were respectful of our household rhythms and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day.
The quality of their work was simply excellent. A kind of mesh was used during the initial preparation to smooth out uneven and cracked surfaces so that those surfaces came out looking like new. After priming, two coats of paint were applied. Taking great care not to damage our newly refinished wood floors,  they used drop cloths and painted with precision, leaving no drips or puddles. Every little aspect that was not to our liking was  promptly and courteously corrected.  Charges for the project adhered strictly to the contract and payments were well spaced; there were no surprises. 
I would be thrilled to have them come back to work on additional projects.

"Steve and his team were punctual, professional and highly meticulous. Every wall and ceiling was prepped, sanded and patched, with the utmost care, before painting. There was a sand-based faux finish throughout the house that we wanted removed. We had consulted with several other painters before selecting Landis Painting, and the others did not know how to handle the faux finish or said it would be time consuming and very expensive to remove. Steve and the team handled it very well, using a special sanding machine that captures the dust so no tarping is required. Steve consulted knowlegeably on other painting issues too, and investigated best products for the specific job at hand (painting fireplace stone and exterior brick). Steve cares about the long term durability of his paint job and wants you to get value for what you pay. He is highly communicative and consultative throughout his team’s time at your home. "As parents and owners of a restaurant, the thought of updating our home has always quickly become an afterthought. After years of putting it on the back burner we found a short window of time after summer and before the holidays. George and his crew started with demolition and removal. We knew that we were in good shape after the first day of work. The crew moved quickly and orderly. This is something that we immediately recognize in our business.They were also courteous and very neat, clean and organized. Working with George was very easy and everything moved at a great pace. We installed a new kitchen, new flooring and sheet rock throughout the main floor. Custom paint and trim work. We also did a master bath with tiles. The sheet rock is seamless, the floors are perfect, and the tile job and paint job all impeccable. The lines are neat and it looks beautiful. We were able to do this work in a very short time frame which was the only way that was possible for us to do. Our home has been brought back to life and we are so pleased with the work.
