"My husband and I recently purchased a house with floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Theyâ re stunning, but the heat they bring in is unbearable. We tried curtains, but I wasnâ t in love with the look, so I talked him into window tinting (he was hesitant, but us women always know best). While I knew it would make a difference, itâ s honestly better than expected! When coming in to do the consultation, we had narrowed it down to 2 options, so Glare Guardians put those 2 different films on part of the glass so we can sleep on it and see what we liked best. And if you just want an inexpensive, temporary solution, there are adhesive or magnetic screen panels you can install for an hour, a day, or a season.

The best windows to tint are those that get the most direct sunlight—particularly sunroom windows or windows facing the south or east where the sun shines most brightly throughout the day. If your pets have favorite windows to lie in front of, you may want to consider those, as well, to protect their skin from sun damage.
